i couldnt possibly say enough positive things about these guys! I went on a last minute, ten day trip to california and was left in a bind. Ive got a 55lb mutt, lulu and two cats that are my babies. Adam and dara came highly recomended from my best friend who uses them for her puppies daily runs. I learned about Wiggley Walkers when they had a youswoop for cat visits a couple weeks ago. Before purchasing the youswoop deal I contacted them to see if the week I needed would work (it was the next week) and Adam responded promptly that it would be no problem. While I was gone it was nice to know that Adam was coming by and feeding and playing with them. One of the kitties went right up to Adam when he came by to get the keys/instructions so I knew they were comfortable with him! But the best part was that he cleaned the litterbox! I also had a friend stop by while I was gone and I'm sure he was thankful I didn't ask him to do it! He emailed me pics from when he was there to let me know everything was good! I also appreciate that when I returned late Tuesday night he met me with my keys (I had to give him my gate key because home depot failed at the copy!). I don't know what I would do without Adam and Dara. When I get stuck at work, I send them a text and they are usually there within 30 minutes-they've saved me many times! If you're looking for a dog walker who just loads your dog up in a car with 5 other dogs, brings them to the dog park, and then drops them back at home....tthis is not the service for you. But, If you are looking for caring, flexible, genuine people to take care of your pup while you're gone, you have to use Wiggley. Best experience ever for our pup! Wiggley Walkers rules! We were about to leave for a six day Xmas trip to Mexico when our first option fell through and we were in a bind. We contacted Adam and Dara who hooked us up. Our dog had a few bad experiences with overnight boarding so we decided to keep her home in her comfort zone. Ok, I know I've posted good reviews for Wiggley Walkers before, but something happened today that warrants major kudos. Adam has been sitting for our cats for the past 3 years. Well, sometime during the night last night, my cat Pinky escaped through a loose screen. My husband and I realized he was missing around 6am, and worried, we immediately started searching the neighborhood. I also posted a message to Facebook asking people in the neighborhood to keep an eye out. Well, at 8am, who should pull up in front of my building but Adam from Wiggley Walkers! I was initially referred to Adam well over two years ago when I needed a cat sitter for an extended trip. Since then, he's watched my cat Floyd for every trip I couldn't find a friend to watch. As of yesterday, he's also become my dog's emergency walker as well. Wiggly Walkers is my go-to service, and I have no issues recommending them to friends. When I first met Adam, the first thing I noticed was the attention to detail (he took notes regarding location of food, how much to feed, etc). I've gotten fair rates for pet sitting, and happy pets when I return from a long trip. Oh, and before I forget, I receive texts from Adam daily, showing me how my cat is doing when he sits, so I know things are going well. Adam rules- 5 stars isn't enough for Wiggley Walkers. If you're using another service in Chicago or imposing on friends/family you are making a huge mistake. Complete professionalism, reliability, & consistency are some of the luxuries you will come to know when working with these guys. It's hard to say who will enjoy working with them more, you or your pets (seriously.) But one thing's for sure, it will be incredibly difficult going back to anything else. Wiggley Walkers is hands down the top of it's class in Chicago for dog walking. We were referred to them by a friend and couldn't have been more thankful for being able to connect with them. Ryan walks our dog along with Adam when Ryan is off and both are amazing. Each day they leave a brief update so you know what time they came, how the dog was etc. Our building manger who see's either Ryan or Adam on a daily basis both say they are so good with Matilda (our dog) and just do a great job. After scheduling our initial consultation it became very evident that this is not a business for them but truly a passion they all love and care about dogs so much. We adopted Matilda and upon bringing her home had some initial separation anxiety Wiggley Walkers was great in providing updates via text letting us know what she may or may not destroyed and whether or not they felt the need to put her in the crate as at the time if she was destroying stuff we crated her but tried to leave her out. Wiggley Walkers made this stressful adjustment for both Matilda and us much easier by giving us a piece of mind midday. Ryan goes above and beyond from putting her booties on since she cries from the salt to refilling her toy with treats when she was dealing with her anxiety. Anyone who needs walkers in Chicago Wiggley Walkers is definitely your place. They are trustworthy which is a key trait when looking into who you are giving a key to your apartment to and as mentioned previously extremely passionate about their job, caring about their jobs, and cost friendly if you compare their rates among competitors. Dara took care of my older cats when I went out of town. One is on meds and needs it 2x /day. They're also scaredy cats so I was very apprehensive having someone come- was worried they wouldn't come out to eat. Well, they came out for her! I highly recommend Wiggley Walkers for cat-sitting! I had never left my two little cats with a "baby-sitter" before-- on the rare occasion that I had to leave them for a few days, they'd always stayed with family. However when I went out of town last week, that wasn't an option. I was nervous about handing over my apartment keys to a person I really didn't know, and especially nervous about how my cat Sam would handle being without me. (He's a real mama's boy.) During the initial consultation Adam was courteous, reassuring, prompt, and professional. I felt a little silly explaining the many quirks of my cats' feeding routine and various behaviors, but he seemed to understand completely. ** I also want to note that Adam was willing to arrive a bit later than originally planned for the aforementioned consultation, so that I could watch "So You Think You Can Dance"! (It's the only show I watch on TV.) Adam, thank you thank you thank you!! :) While I was away, the photos that Adam sent made me feel a lot better-- I really missed my lil' guys! I could tell that he really cared about how they were doing, and that made me feel better-- to know that they were in good paws. ...I mean, um, hands. :) Adam was also very understanding and compassionate when I needed to come home two days earlier than originally planned. Dara and Adam are the best! I've been using them since September and they have been reliable, caring & always flexible to last-minute changes in my schedule. I often get picture texts of my dog on his walks with them and they also leave a note letting me know Jack's bodily functions and mood. I was most impressed by them a few weeks ago when Dara texted me to let me know my dog had gotten sick during their visit - she cleaned everything up and I was able to call the vet and get an appointment for that evening. Just a quick update as I have received many messages regarding my experience with this company. 1 week after my three year old dog was in the care of this company and let loose into the city for 3 + hours, she began to have seizures. I've seen multiple neurologists and all think the traumatic incident triggered her seizures. She has them about 4 times a month. For the last 4 years I have had to spend $100 a month on medication that has to be given 2 times a day and thousands on neurology visits. First they lost our 2 dogs, then they didn't call us until hours later, and then they harassed us with rude emails and phone calls for two days!! The owners of Wiggley Walkers have said terrible things to us, treated us like dirt and the only genuine apology we received was in Adam's Yelp comment below Lindsey R.'s. I don't think it is a coincidence that it is a public apology... AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! Not only that, we were displeased with his walking services before this incident - late walks, no follow up and ignored requests for updates on our dogs' progress. I just want to warn everyone that this is the most UNPROFESSIONAL and immature group of people/company that I have interacted with. I have never left a review on this website before but given what happened in my case with Wiggley Walkers, I felt compelled to share my experience with potential customers who are considering using Wiggley Walkers as a dog-walking service. I am also assuming that, based on the other reviews on this site, that someone from WW will reply explaining their side of the story. I have no problems with that at all, provided that it is honest and forthcoming. To start, I will preface this by saying that I am sure there are many customers who have had different experiences than mine with WW; They are very nice, mostly responsive, and were enthusiastic when we elected to use them to walk our dog. They are very nice people. However, if you hire them, I would highly suggest to any potential customer to do your due diligence and make sure that whatever service you select from WW, that they actually do it. In my case, we hired WW for the 25 minute walks for our dog. Our understanding of this was that the total time of the appointment was 25 minutes, with the walk included in that time. We had two primary problems with them when it came to this. First, a majority of the appointments were not even for half of the 25 minutes. Second, they never even showed up on one of the days. Typically, when we returned home in the evening, WW left receipts in the apartment (which is helpful) that let us know when they showed up to walk the dog and when they left (I am sure that they do this for all of their customers). The problem, however, is that these receipts, in 4 cases, downright wrong. My apartment happens to have a security system that keeps a log of when the doors open and close and at what times. This means that we could see when the walker entered our apartment, when he/she left the apartment with our dog, and when they returned with the dog from the walk and left after unleashing him. Of the 7 days that WW walked our dog, 5 of the times were stated by WW on their receipts to be 25 mins, with 2 being 30 mins. In reality, our security system listed the total time of the walker in-and-out of our apartment as 10 minutes twice, 12 minutes twice, 18, 22, and 24 respectively. Now, I understand that it takes time to get into the building, leash up the dog, and get outside, walk him, take him back in, unleash him, and leave. I was willing to accept that for the 18+ min walks, giving some break time to open the doors and unleash the dog when he returned from the walk. However, the 12 min and less walks meant that the 25 minute stated apointment of the walker was overstated, unless the WW dogwalker was hanging out outside my building, without the dog, just doing nothing (if it means anything, all 4 walks were listed as "Adam"). Given the discrepancy, I'm not even sure if my dog did #1/#2 at all or if those were just as incorrect as the stated times. The second, and final straw, was the day we terminated the relationship. On this day, WW never even showed up to walk our dog. There was no receipt left, and a review of our security system showed that nobody entered or exited the apartment during the afternoon. We received no call, no email, no text, no nothing to explain what happened or why nobody even showed up to walk our dog. The poor guy was out of his mind because he had to use the bathroom so badly by the time we got home. I promptly composed an email to WW explaining just these reasons, in more detail, to them on why we were firing them, along with the evidence (receipts and security system logs) that showed why we decided to no longer use their services. As I stated above, the workers that we dealt with over the phone/email were pleasant and enthusiastic. Nobody was ever mean, nasty, etc.. I am sure that they love dogs and have no evidence to suggest that they mistreat the animals that they walked. They certainly did not mistreat mine (outside of the final day when they never showed up to walk him). The email sent to me after I informed WW that we were firing them stated that the matters we stated would be addressed with the staff, and we were not required to pay anything. I certainly hope so. I would like me to be the outlier for this company, the one mistake that they made. The problem is that, in this business, given that I am trusting them with the care of a creature that I love, I have to be able to trust the people I am placing my dog's care into. Given the time discrepancies and the entire day skipped of a walk, I could no longer trust them as a company to walk and take care of my dog. We signed up with them with the intent to pay for 25 minute walks that we never received in a majority of the dates. If you are going to hire them, as I stated, make sure you are getting what you pay for. read more

He texts pics, leaves notes, etc. I've had issues with past walkers farming out my dog to irresponsible people, especially since I need help on weekends. Not Adam. He has shown up 100% of the time and that is the most important part of the job to me. He takes pride in his work. When I adopted my dog Jasper I needed help right away because I work very long hours. I called on Saturday, and that Sunday Adam and Dara came out to meet me and my pup! They set me up and started his walks the next day. I have been so happy to have them as Jasper's dog walkers! I'm not a chicago native, so I don't have a family network to fall back on when I get in a bind. They will accommodate walks at a moment's notice, will feed him at last minute, and have offered helpful suggestions. Adam and Dara truly go out of their way to help me out, anticipating my needs and sharing ideas that might benefit Jasper. I'm totally new at owning a dog, so I imagine I'm a pretty neurotic owner, and they have been nothing but professional and helpful. My dog is not an easy walk. He is extremely leash reactive with other dogs. Adam's daily walks with Jasper have helped him work on this issue, and I know I can trust Adam to keep Jasper away from other dogs so no problems arise. It's also kinda weird to hand over your house key to someone. At first I made sure apartment was super clean every day, but that lasted for about a week, and now, unfortunately, Adam has to see my clutter and mess! And based on my interactions and the notes he leaves behind, I trust that he spends so much time with my dog that is the last thing on his mind. And even if it's not, I am totally fine with them laughing about it later because I know they won't bring it up to me! Having a dog walker is a unique situation as you are inviting someone into your home daily while you're not there to take care of your pet you really love. I trust Adam and Dara completely and am so thankful I found them when I got my dog. We never have to worry about our giant puppies whenever we go out of town or are away at work. Very easy to sched. Times to walk the doggies. Dara and Adam are amazing! Our schedules are very unpredictable but they are always flexible and accommodating for us. We originally decided to get a dog walker for our dog Boston because he is an older dog and needs to go out more. We do not regret choosing Wiggley Walkers. It's one of the best decisions we've made.
