They have cheap beer, strong drinks and FREE TACOS during halftime... even when the Packers are getting their asses handed to them by the mighty Vikings and losing their "star" quarterback for the rest of the season... basically ruining any chance of making it to the playoffs. Love this place. The Wigwam is an Eau Claire standard. I think the bar has been open since the 1920's. My Grandfather drank here before he met my Grandma. Never tried the food but the drinks are strong, albeit in plastic cups, and the karaoke is on point. read more

The food was ok, certainly nothing special but the service was despicable! My wife and I on a Sunday afternoon was there for just a couple sandwiches and asked to have two separate receipts - the girl refused. She asked why I needed it done that way and I replied that's personal, so she refused to correct the receipt. They have no manager only an owner whom you can speak to IF YOU CAN CATCH HIM!! a nice tavern with good food music at a usually nice background, though it can get loud with a packed house. Generally 20-30's crowd with a fair amount of life experience. The Wigwam can be a source of such experience too as something happening isn't impossible but it can happen. As a general rule though, very safe as the bar will shut down a guest if they get out of line. Karaoke, daily specials and brunch are just a few reasons why you might find yourself returning to the Wigwam, I know that I find it the same. This bar is disgusting the tables are not cleaned the floor is disgusting the bartender was very rude it was my gf bday and asked it she got a free drink she walks away and gets drinks and comes back and then says it's $10.50. and I ask so no free drink she says no in a rude asf manner and walks away so I give her the change and she slams the change. read more

I waited for several minutes while the girl behind the bar fiddled with the tv and it's remote. When she finally got to me I asked for a to-go order and she refused because "they wouldn't make any money." So they don't make profits from food? Stopped in for a burger 6:00 on a Sunday night. About 10 people in the bar. Working crew either in the kitchen area or visiting through the window. After about 7 minutes we were finally acknowledged with "be right with you" then employee disappeared into the kitchen. Another 5 minutes and we just left. Table was dirty as was the floor, littered with pull tabs, looked like residue from previous night. Staff could have spent time cleaning up vs standing around visiting. read more
