After the huge let-down of Dunkin Donuts Switzerland (Donuts are baked...not fried) we wondered how KFC will hold up. Of course it's not the place you'll choose when you look for healthy food. We weren't...all we wanted were some fried pieces of chicken. We chose a bunch of back chicken pieces. Hot, fresh, meaty....crispy. As it should be. Freshness was good, meat quality as well. Service was fine (a bit of a language barrier due to the location in the Italian part). Prices are quite high compared to the US, but this is Switzerland, so that was to be expected. The place is quite big and there's plenty of parking right out front. Just a small order to sample this time. But what we got was really fine, so we surely will be back and try some other items. This place here has potential. Good to grab a bit after shopping in FoxTown.

Top-to-bottom was innovative, playful with an element of surprise and delicious to boot. Everything you would want in such an experience. Not to mention, the outstanding redesign of the space felt like you were walking onto a David Lynch set - minimal and colorful, while slightly ominous. Love love love. To top it off, the staff was not only incredibly friendly, they worked with such coordination and precision, making sure each table received their next course in a well-paced manner, not rushed, nor too much time. One note: the tasting was ~13-14 courses (with the first one having 6 tiny elements) so almost 20 in total, however not sure exactly as we lost count, all very bite sized, and you need to budget ~3 hours. We have dined at places like Pujol in Mexico City and Spoonik in Barcelona so sometimes we get fed some ideas from other suppliers and contacts. We love to send clients to places we can vouch for. We are so happy to have been excepted by invitation only in email where they secure your dining with credit card. If you are a no show you will be charged but with 24 hrs + notice you can be refunded. We opted for the menu that the chefs design specifically for you that is made up of 10 (really 12 in our cases) small tapas like courses. Each plate is artistically created for you in an abstract and pretty much non objective manner. The entire experience is so entertaining, our palates had no idea what was coming for them next! Yes, it is a little bit "touristy", but lots of fun. They have savory (such as prosciutto and cheese) and sweet (chocolate). I have been several times and it is not unusual for the line to be down the block. If so, divide and conquer: One person find a place to sit (steps in front of the cathedral?) while the other goes to order and bring back the goodies.

We were a group of 6 Asian travellers who were there for lunch. While some of us went to get coffee, a male waiter came over to chase us away to a table for 4 because he was setting the table for lunch. This was even after we told him we were staying for lunch. All this was done in a very rude and derisory fashion. On the plus side, the coffee was cheap: €1.30 for a cappuccino. Just don't expect good service if you're not local and don't speak Italian.
