Apparently all cupcakes are not equal. These were the best cupcakes, bar none, I can recall eating. They were top quality, with cake so moist, I did not require a glass of milk with every bite. I still had the milk, (I mean hey, I'm not a barbarian!) I didn't drink it until the cupcake was done though, and it was a nice compliment to the cake rather than something necessitated by the cake. They had the perfect amount of frosting, came packaged in a box that kept each one safe and separate, and they just tasted outstanding. Every expectation was exceeded. It was obvious that the same quality, care, and attention to detail went into my cupcakes as goes into the most extravagant wedding cake. The owner of the business also worked with me on decorations. Several times I mailed her some special cupcake toppers to use (I had found some old-timey Raggedy Ann and Andy toppers on Etsy, that being a favorite of my aunt's) and Megan worked me to deliver a perfect gift at a very reasonable price. The exchange immediately felt uncomfortable, unnecessary, and unwelcoming. I found it very off putting that the focus appeared to be on whether a customer spoke loudly or enthusiastically enough rather than simply providing a pleasant and respectful experience. The employee has no way of knowing what customers may be dealing with in their personal lives. Because of this interaction, my husband and I chose to leave immediately. For context, during my previous visit I spent around $60 on several items, so this feedback is not coming from a lack of interest in supporting the business. It's genuinely unfortunate to leave a review like this, as the product itself was good. However, customer service matters just as much as the food, and because of this experience, we will not continue to support this business.

I found this place on the Door dash app but it was called Doyle's Baked from Scratch Cakes. This is one of the best bakeries for Red Velvet Cheesecake and I've tried a great amount of them in the CSRA area. Personally the service and ambiance here was just as wonderful as the desserts were. Even the delivery driver said she didn't know that place existed previously and when she walked in, it smelled like heaven and she'd be back with her family to pay a visit! I think their turtle cheesecake is a pass because the aroma in my mouth kinda reminds me of the passive aroma you get when you're in an office store. But I still think this deserves a 5/5 because the strawberry cheesecake is so wow-worthy. Please pay this place a visit!!!!!!!!!
