They were able to help me primarily through email (when most florists I spoke to required in-person appointments only) and were incredibly prompt and responsive. I only had to drive in once for a final consultation. It was a huge lifesaver at an already stressful time! I was also really impressed at how well they worked with my budget. They never tried to upsell me or suggest additional pieces. When looking over my inspiration, they were great at suggesting affordable flowers that would create the look I was going for without breaking the bank. In the end, I was so happy with how all of my wedding flowers looked. I wanted flowers that were bright, colorful, and evocative of a fiesta. That's exactly what I got! They created a beautiful flower crown, bouquet, and bud vase centerpieces for me. They received so many compliments throughout the night. One final thing: My inspiration picture bouquet featured a unique ribbon around the stems that I really loved. Garden Style didn't have that particular ribbon in the shop, so they actually went out of their way to track it down and add it so that I could have it for my wedding day. White House Flowers absolutely saved the day!…read more It was my mom's 80th birthday, and I had originally placed my order through FTD two days in advance. At the last minute, FTD informed me they couldn't deliver the flowers on her birthday. Needless to say, I was incredibly disappointed. After 3:30 p.m. on the day of her birthday, I called White House Flowers, hoping for a miracle. Not only did they agree to help, but they created a beautiful arrangement and made sure my mom received flowers on her special day. And they did it all at a reasonable price. I truly can't say enough good things about their customer service. They were kind, compassionate, and willing to go the extra mile when another company completely let us down. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous, and they turned what could have been a ruined birthday into a wonderful memory. My advice: skip the national flower brokers like FTD. They simply act as middlemen and, in my experience, didn't seem to care when things went wrong. Instead, support a real local florist. If you're anywhere near Whitehouse, Texas, do yourself a favor and call White House Flowers directly. They earned a customer for life, and I couldn't recommend them more highly.

RANT- I'm posting this for my friend. This is from Barbara Florist on 5th street. The first picture is literally on HER website...the second picture is what I received 15minutes prior to the funeral. On the phone she stated she followed the picture but didn't have the peach roses...that was NEVER said to us. If you are out of a flower that is suppose to be pretty much the main flower why did you not say anything?! The flowers are wilting on the bottom and the roses that were provided have brown on the bottom of them. I told her this and she said she got the flowers in today and they aren't wilted, she said the funeral is already over so there's nothing to be done and refused to give me a refund or do anything about it. It's not like it was cheap like this was $160! she was super condescending on the phone and continued to call me "baby" and "precious" and "honey" that is unprofessional. After she said she did everything right, it was my fault for not calling sooner, and she wasn't doing to do anything about it I just hung up. Extremely disappointed ESPECIALLY since it was a funeral. Just don't recommend her clearly.
