    Shrimp fried rice

Tried Wild Ginger for our take out Friday routine. Place is very cute, nice seating area. We ordered shrimp fried rice, fried wings, shrimp tempura and the dinner shrimp and broccoli which came with an egg roll and pork fried rice. Total came to $30+ The shrimp fried rice was the best out of everything we ordered. It was so flavorful. The shrimp and broccoli and the pork fried rice were bland. The egg roll was mediocre. The shrimp tempura had good flavor but was hard to eat because it kept falling apart. I would definitely go back to try their sushi/sashimi menu.

The rolls were delicious, and the portions were great! Customer service was friendly and welcoming. We went near closing time and the food came out fast! The place is quite small and cozy. Recommended if you'd like to try something new in town!

I had tried Wild Ginger in the height of COVID times when all restaurants were only doing take out orders, no dine-in. The food was good, but eating it at home wasn't the same. Fast forward a year or two later, my bf and I decided to check it out and dine in. The restaurant itself was cute and quaint. Once sat inside, it seems like a restaurant that you wouldn't find in Sicklerville. Service was fast- it seems family owned & ran. We order 3 things to share as we didn't want leftovers. Portions were great for the price. Food was very CRISPY, which is something we really love to have when ordering things with "crispy" in the title. It seemed to be BYOB since people around us brought bottles of wine. Overall, would definitely come back!

On 2/18/23 my friend wanted to eat Asian food for lunch. We were seated as soon as we arrived. The service was great. The food was scrumptious especially the warm sweet potato sushi roll. I will order the sushi again. I enjoyed the teriyaki shrimp bento box. The miso soup had a lot of tofu and it was tasty. It was not loud or overcrowded in the restaurant.

Very good! Waiter very nice. Just kind of weird that they stare at you until your done and will yank your plate asap.

Our excellent sushi dinner at Wild Ginger tonight.

Another fantastic meal at Wild Ginger tonight. Philly roll surrounded by California roll. Great place with fantastic service !

I still love this place, but I've got a few words of advice: hire more help and don't fib on pickup times for take-out.

My go-to items are: crab Rangoon, angry lobster and tony maki rolls. The best part is its BYOB and the liquor store is next door.

We arrived just in time, as there was a line to get in directly after we were seated. Service was slow, but they were really busy. And we were not in a rush. Complimentary chips and mole to start. The Esquite (Mexican street corn, sans cob) was amazing. I could eat this every day of my life. The Pork Bao Buns were flavorful, but the cheese threw us off. There was a lot of it, too. We ordered the Birria Tacos (beef) and the Korean Al Pastor Rice Bowl. I had lunch for two days. Can't beat that! BYOB. Small parking lot. Street parking seems tough - it may be wise to Uber. There were tons of Door Dash orders being picked up (we were sitting near that area). It got a little crowded with so many drivers hovering around. Get there early!

The inside is beautiful, with lights on the ceiling and tables arranged neatly. There are no booths. The restroom is huge and temperature-wise a little chilly. They bring your bill to the table but you pay at the register. Everyone is very nice and they brought water unprompted, which was fantastic! Then the food.... Delicious! The egg rolls were nicely fried and the insides (especially the birria) were tasty. I do not care for the texture of onions - these were hidden, but at not coat to flavor. This restaurant is a gem, I'm glad my friend took me here as a post-play lupper!

It was hard to stop eating it but I wanted to save room. In the end, this was my favorite dish! Temperature wise, the soup was served piping hot. I loved the onions and mushrooms in it. Then we got the dumplings. Delicious!! They were meaty with a special sauce. They came 6 to an order. Would get this too again! Next were the edamame. They were a bit overcooked in terms of how I prefer them. Perfectly salted. Good size portion. For our main we each got the Thai Sesame Triple and I ordered the pad Thai noodles to take home to my sister/nieces. We were clearly going for leftovers so we over ordered on purpose. The Thai Sesame Triple was delicious, and once again, a very good portion. We got the dinner portion at lunch. The chicken was perfectly crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. Same for most of the shrimp. The scallops were not as crunchy- my dad said last time they were. Huge portion of rice with it as well as some broccoli and carrot garnish. I got brown rice. I tasted the Pad Thai and it was also good- mild.

This time I went with my mom and her boyfriend and we all loved the food and left with our bellies full! Our server was very attentive to us, kept our drinks filled, cleared our table of dirty plates quickly, and didn't make us feel rushed or pressured at all. We were disappointed to see that there was no soft shell crab, honey-coconut shrimp, or egg custard dim sum (all of which were present during my first visit and I was looking forward to) but given how wonderful everything else was, it wasn't a big deal The building was still crowded even though we went on a Tuesday evening, but I hear on weekends the line can be out the door so in comparison to that it sounds like we avoided most of the crowd. There were consistently workers keeping the food stocked and the building clean aswell. Despite the mild disappointment of my second visit, I'll still be returning and continuing to recommend this place to friends and family :)

Lobsters and crabs were abundant. I learned about this place awhile ago from YouTube of which many gave praises. We frequented many mid level AYCE places like this and we've found that as time goes by, quality degrades with restaurants like this. Now there was a rather long length of time between discovering this place on YouTube and actually visiting this place. I wonder if the praises that were sung about this place were still valid. I would say yes. As previously mentioned, lobsters and crabs were abundant and makes it worth the trip on that alone. As for the other offerings, it was mostly surprisingly good. Don't expect Michelin quality food here. Generally, it's about the quantity BUT the food is pretty good. The sushi/sashimi shocked me a little. AYCE sushi is usually just passable but here, I thought it was pretty good. Everyone in my group loved the quality of the salmon. Other offerings, of which there were many, were pretty good. Standouts were the lamb chops in my opinion. Dessert options wasn't as extensive as the other AYCE places I've frequented but they do the job. Aside from the usual fountain soda options (serves by the restaurant staff) , they had a few fruit drinks and a milk tea option as well as some specialty drinks in a can. Scale 1 to 5. (Keep in mind that this is based on quality you'd expect from a typical AYCE restaurant. Food 5 (large selection of food and that shellfish!) Service 5 (Friendly staff and were pretty efficient in clearing the plates) Cleanliness 4 (Place was well kept. Deducted 1 star due to the stickiness of the floor around our table which reminded me of a movie theater floor... lol) Value 5 One con to point out. The restaurant was rather large yet the bathrooms were small and couldn't accommodate a lot of people at once. Not a huge quibble as the wait wasn't astronomical BUT it did seem odd that the size of the bathroom didn't match the size of the restaurant.
