The ambience in this place isn't the greatest, but the food is amazing! I came with a coworker who lived in Peru for some of his life so he did all the table ordering. I can't remember exactly what each dish was that he ordered, but everything was tasty! The service was incredible, our waitress was very kind and attentive to our needs. They had a soccer game playing on the tvs during our meal which was fun to watch everyone cheer! I would come back and recommend trying if you've never had Peruvian food. They have a pretty big menu with lots of options, I'm sure you'd find something you'd enjoy if you're an adventurous eater!

Located in a nondescript strip mall, we came for dinner on a Saturday evening and was seated immediately. We tried the lomo saltado, seco de cordero (lamb), Kau kau, and duck. Portions were large, food was very flavorful, and prices reasonable. We also had a pitcher of passion fruit juice. The restaurant was laid back and very family friendly. Would definitely return when in the area again!

Tried out this new Peruvian place, opened about a month ago. They have a great menu of traditional Peruvian dishes, and they are very delicious. We have tried many of the Peruvian restaurants in Salt Lake City, and this is now a favorite. The owner is very cool, and chatted with us for a while. Super friendly and great service. Our table had the Causa Rellena (pictured) as well as the Lomo Saltado and Sevans a la Nortena. (I goofed and forgot the photos). If you get a chance, come support this great new Peruvian restaurant. Note: don't let the stop mall and low key decor fool you. This is a gem in the area.

The food is soooooo salty ugh. I felt like I was gonna have a heart attack after eating that ceviche mixto. Been to Peru and their ceviche is not like that at all.

It was fine, however we were underwhelmed by the seasoning and ambiance. Won't return.

The Cajun fries were good quality fries (on the more potato rather than crispy side) but could've used more Cajun. Next time I'd ask for a side of Cajun seasoning or see if they can just put more on. The refresher was light in flavor but actually really good and legitimately refreshing! There might have even been tiny pieces of peach on the bottom, which I liked! For the boil I got a half pound of shrimp (head on) and subbed the potato for a corn and added a second corn. I got the special sauce (basically a combo of all the sauces) mild, but didn't think it tasted spicy at all. To be honest I think the sauce was just okay, a little less flavorful than expected. Maybe next time I would try medium spice level to see if it makes a difference. My bf got a half pound of shrimp (head off), half pound of crawdads, and wanted the blue crab but because it was sold out, he switched to a half pound of snow crab legs, garlic butter (seasoned), mild. He thought the sauce was good but wished it would've soaked into the meat more. Def recommend frequent dipping! Crawdads weren't bad, it was our first time eating them but offered very little meat for the work required. He was pretty disappointed with the crab legs--despite being double the price of the blue crab, almost every leg he cracked open was half hollow and had barely any meat in it. He said it was the first time in his life he's had crab legs like that! Service however was 10/10. She was super attentive, kind, and welcoming. Some of the best service I've ever had! Ambiance is casual, had cute theming similar to most seafood boil spots. Appreciated the bibs, gloves, and wipes! Overall I liked it but would tweak my order. Unfortunately, my bf said he would never go back again, but this was only his second time ever going to a seafood boil restaurant, and he's thinking it just might not be for him lol.

On my most recent visit, my group of three came in around 12 PM during peak hours. Waiting about an hour for a table was expected, so that wasn't the issue. The problem started after we were seated. We sat at the table for around 30 minutes without a single server acknowledging us. No greeting, no water, no chips, no drinks, nothing. We were literally sitting there wondering if anyone even knew we had been seated. After half an hour of being completely ignored, we decided to leave because it was obvious we weren't going to receive any actual service. This also isn't an isolated experience. On another visit we came with a larger group of about eight people, and the restaurant automatically added a 20% gratuity to the bill. Normally that would make sense for big parties, but the service was terrible. Drinks went empty and stayed empty, nobody checked on the table, and the overall attitude from staff felt careless. It honestly feels like once the automatic gratuity is added, the effort disappears. The frustrating part is that the food used to be good, but the restaurant clearly can't handle the amount of customers they pack into the place. Long waits, disorganized service, and tables being ignored completely ruin the experience. The parking lot is also a mess. When we were leaving, cars were parked in ways that boxed people in and created total chaos trying to get out. There's no organization and no control over the situation. Between the extremely long waits, inattentive staff, automatic gratuity for poor service, and chaotic parking, the overall experience here is just frustrating. There are plenty of other places to eat seafood where you won't spend hours waiting just to be ignored.
