Came here last Winter while in Lompoc for a soccer tournament. This seems to be a mom and pop pizza shop, family owned. They have some old memorabilia and video games which is kinda cool. But when we came there was a lot of "old stuff" (furniture) taking up space at the back of the store. I'm not sure if this was a temporary thing or not. Staff was very friendly, talkative. The pizza was good, a little greasy for my taste, but good. They also had some limited pasta options like the Mac n cheese, which has some bacon bits in it. Unique. Omg this place is soo good. I love their seafood Mac n cheese. It has lobster chunks with pasta and lobster bisque, which blends in with the cheese making it so creamy and flavorful. The pizza is also really good and made as ordered. Everytime I go, the food is made fresh and you can definitely tell. They do take a little bit to make but service is always friendly. When you walk in, it looks like a cowboy/Wild West decor with a full bar in it. read more

Good pizza, but they keep screwing up my order for delivery. Then they tell you that you can come pick up the order that they screwed up and refuse to refund you, again, blaming the delivery company. Of course, the delivery company blames Wild West and the customer gets to deal with the mess. I could even hear the boss in the background telling the girl on the phone what to tell me and getting annoyed that I was asking for a refund. That's pretty spineless and a terrible way to treat your customers. I will no longer be supporting these people. read more

They have young girl up front greating people, however that does not work if the staff there is chatting her up. She was helpful and let me know the menu was there too look at. Service though was how should I put this, rough maybe..... There was something wrong with the dispenser and after wrangling it with no gloves or anything, nor washing the dispenser off at least, jsut serves from it. Food was ok. Eventually did not like what I ordered. The Ambiance, a dank weird bar area with steer heads and old cowboy posters. For the price that these places are charging for food (an no obvious increase as to why) there are way better choices to eat at. read more

The salad was good and flavorful the wings were good. The pizza was ok I felt the dough was soggy and that needed to be cooked more and be crispy. The mac and cheese was a bit salty. The cashier at the front wasn't too friendly seemed like she was bothered. The lady that brought about the pizza was nice and friendly. Once again, another local restaurant. While staying at a local hotel my son and I were looking for place to eat dinner. Yelp to the rescue once again. Cool little themed pizza place. Came into this unique little establishment to try out their pizza and found a whole western themed store inside. There was a lot of spices, hot sauces, and little gifts to shop around and look at. The food was decent and came out at a decent time. They put lots of cheese on their pizza, so if you are a cheese lover, this is a great pizza for you! The whole experience was sufficient. The dining area is half storage area and needs a good organizing/clean up, but other than that, I recommend trying it out. read more

Came here for the first time and I already love this place. We were served by Pete (referred to as "that old guy," according to him) and it was an absolute joy chatting with him, he was welcoming and kind. The vibe was homey and wonderful. Amazing conversation with locals and amazing food. The bread sticks are like nothing I've ever had thus far, we highly recommend ordering (although we were warned that sometimes the main entree comes out before the appetizer). The pizza is delicious; we ordered the "Snake Eye," extra cheese and extra pepperoni. You just can't get this kind of quality pizza with fast food. 10/10 in our book. My favorite thing about wild west pizza is their very fresh ingredient. There's never going to be a bite without toppings. So yummy!

The bbq chicken pizza was incredibly disappointing. The bbq sauce needs a kick, and the pieces of chicken were not cut to be easily edible. They also forgot a topping I added but definitely charged me for it. Over priced for what I received. The dessert I ordered was better than the pizza. Make it make sense. read more

Ordered chicken wings tonight. 2 separate orders, yet they still mixed them in the same container even though one order was plain. Honestly, this is a sad excuse for wings, especially at $9 for 6. Spicy Buffalo are barely sauced. Also ordered a mac n cheese personal pizza, dough was not cooked all the way, I could smell the yeast. RAW dough. When I called to see if this was "normal," I was told that he was the one that did my order, and their Buffalo sauce was thinner than it usually is. So $30 down the drain no biggie. read more

I Went here for the first time today while visiting my son in Lompoc. Pete was our waiter he was really friendly and advised us what to order, explaining how everything for the pizza was made in house fresh every morning. We ordered a custom pizza and it was absolutely delicious. This place is a real gem. I highly recommend the cattlemen meaty pizza. If you love Buffalo wings, your taste buds will be blown by the Buffalo Bill Pizza, cooked with a ranch sauce, Buffalo chicken and green onions to top it off! Oh my goodness, I had never gotten a pizza from wild West Pizza before, and I was absolutely delighted! This is the large, $27.99 blazing Saddles pizza with pepperoni, sausage, jalapenos, pineapple and tomatoes. So good! The service was good and the pizza was done in a timely manner. We have tried a lot of different pizza places here in Lompoc. And in fact we've had Wild West pizza quite a few times but the quality of the pies we bought tonight was AMAZING. We generally order for pickup and get two cauliflower crust pies (which are smallish) and two large regular pies. One of the big ones is usually the gourmet chicken and the other is sometimes ham and pineapple or pepperoni and sausage. I always have black olive and mushroom, which tonight was cooked perfectly. All you Lompocans should give this place a try. Good people working it hard and delivering great food for a fair price. read more

went there this morning, and since I am new/ traveler in the area, thought I'd give it a try. in my opinion, if there is a bar are, there should be bar service, right?, well I sat there for several minutes and was never even welcomed, of note, there was someone at the bar, conversing with a patron, (making an assumption) I was never welcomed, Not even ackowledged. We happened to be the only customer at first (they were making take outs though) and a family with an unhappy baby sat right next to us so that was the only bummer not being able to talk on our date. We returned to Lompoc for the Flower Festival, and went back to Wild West Pizza. We were so pleased to see that Peter was working. We had a nice visit and a wonderful meal. My wife had a medium gluten-free pizza with olives, mushrooms, and tomatoes, and I had the same size and toppings with regular dough. They were delicious! I love their pizza dough. What a treat. Plus, the medium pizzas are pretty large, and we'll be enjoying these pizzas for at least one more meal. Peter also offered a Pinot Noir wine blend which paired well with our pizzas. Since the last review, we've had the buffet here once. It was good. I mean, not amazing but good. We liked the salad bar option and the pizza wasn't overly...wet. This will make sense later. I asked my husband last night if we should try Wild West again. He wasn't thrilled because he hated it last time. But I wanted to give it a shot. It's been a few years. Basically, my last review still stands. I love thick crust, pan, deep dish, etc. But, the crust, should be a crust. The bottom should be cooked. And for the second time, the middle of the pizza the dough was basically raw. Wet, chewy. Again, the pepperonis were tasteless under all the cheese. The sauce was GREAT though. I loved the sauce and cheese. But the dough and pepperoni was just oof. My husband ate one slice. I ate 3. The rest didn't make it because I knew with how soggy it was, it wouldn't reheat well the next day. IF we try it again, I'll order a different crust. It's sad cause I LOVE thick crust. But not when it's undercooked dough. Also, we ordered wings, they were really good! It states it comes with ranch. I added/paid for 2 additional sides of ranch for the pizza. Those didn't come. Granted it was that prepackaged kens house ranch. Which we don't like, so we would have thrown them out anyway, but still, they were paid for and didn't come. read more

I had a chicken and cheese pizza on hand tossed pizza, I ate it all, it was not all of that, and the water tasted like tap water, although was told it was filtered, it wasn't. We were in from out of town and found this restaurant on Yelp. We had a medium pepperoni pizza and a buffalo chicken pizza. The pepperoni pizza was good, not outstanding. WAY TOO MUCH CHEESE on it. The crust was good. My son liked his chicken pizza but it was $24, a little over priced for what we got. But the weird part was when the gentleman/server brought the check he waited there at the table. Told us they take cash or charge. Then proceeded to stand there waiting for a payment. IT WAS REALLY AWKWARD. I like to look over the check, make sure it's correct, figure out a tip, and decide to pay cash or card. But no, he stood there and waited. Felt very rushed. I try not to write negative reviews but I'm super annoyed... my boyfriend had tried the pizza here and loved it, so we called in an order to go and not one thing was right, they forgot two toppings on my pizza, gave me cannolis instead of the pasta carbonara I ordered and the sauce on my wings was wrong too, they gave me buffalo instead of honey. The pizza wasn't good, the cannoli wasn't good and the wings tasted like they had been boiled I almost gagged. I think the container they put them in might have steamed them. I only noticed the issue when we got back to the hotel so I ended up having to order pizza from somewhere else to make up for it. read more
