Everyone in the church genuinely cares for each other and you can just tell in your spirit. The worship is great and the teaching is rich and life giving. Our kids have learned so much about Jesus and made great friends in the children's ministry, and my wife and I look forward to Men's ministry and Women's ministry nights once a month (plus some awesome retreats)! What Grace Hills, with Pastor Brandon at the helm, has done is create a sense of just how powerful a working relationship with God can be, and how it impacts everyday life. Now, and a little more each week, I find myself turning to God as a real being, who really cares what happens to me and all His children. Brandon gives practical, positive messages about an active experience of God's love. He makes it real, without judgment or threats of wrath. The church has a friendly, comfortable atmosphere, that welcomes everyone. This is the best church I've ever been to. We came to this church, asking for help to get us an extended stay for a hotel, since we only get paid daily and didn't have enough all in one go. We were low on food and it's been getting freezing outside. We didn't have friends or family that we knew and we told this church ALL of this. We were in deep need for some help. They had us fill out an application to see if we could receive anything from them, which already gave us a bad vibe about this place. It's been two whole weeks and they chose not to help us. And do you know what terrible thing the man there said? "If we DECIDE not to help, just know that the Lord will." Are you actually KIDDING me? I'm not going to say much else, but I know the Lord is going to bring this up when you all die. How EVIL!!!

I moved from California and I was looking for a church community to call ours. We went to several…read morechurches. I went to several services. When I came to NBF I had watched a Facebook live of one of their sermons and wanted to see how it felt walking through the doors. Immediately when my family and I walked through the door we were greeted with such excitement. It didn't not feel awkward or weird. I immediately felt welcomed and comfortable. I looked around and asked questions about their children's area. I loved the kids faces as they were running to their areas to attend church. When it was time for church, the music started and the room filled with colorful music of praise. EVERYONE was singing. Men, women, children, all of different backgrounds. The sermon was touching and strong. I left feeling great. We went back a few times, I wanted to see if each time was the same. Each time we went, we spoke to a new person in our community. Each time I was looking for something to be skeptical about. I couldn't find anything except feeling closer to God in my way, in my time, at my pace. My children woke up early each Sunday because they were excited to go and meet new friends and learn something new. The church also holds events throughout the year and community involvement. The "awe" factor are the people. Loving, caring, open hearted and open minded individuals and families. They're good people and an amazing church!
