Wildwoods is located in the centre of Hornchurch, when i say centre, its location commands a prime position where the High Street, Station Lane and Upminster Road converge on each other. Formally a pub of some long standing, and now has been rebuilt and and converted into two restaurants, both providing Italian style cuisine. Wildwoods. Having dined here on a number of occasions I am unable to find anything that i didn't like about it. The service has always been pleasant with a friendly touch to it, The food has always been cooked to my liking. The meatballs in tomato sauce with melted cheese with a hint of rosemary made for a nice first course, the chicken and pancetta rigatoni in a creamy sauce was cooked just how i liked it, sadly We didn't have time for dessert as we were off to see Lee Evans at the O2 (which was subsequently cancelled)
NB: Wildwoods shares its position in the high street with ASK, but Wildwoods wins hands down for service, food and atmosphere. read more
