Desk clerk was challenging and had trouble locating my account although it came up right away on my cellphone. Next day I revisited h desk w a different clerk and resolved the points credit. Tiny elevator in an odd location was tight for 2 with suitcases. Room was pricey but very clean. Beds were comfortable with sufficient bedding for colder weather. Restaurant options were non-existent except for McDonald's but there were bars on the Main Street. Breakfast available was mostly carbs that I saw so took several pieces of fresh fruit.

My room was a king with a recliner, table and chair, flat screen TV, microwave and mini fridge. The fridge was running and cold, which is a plus (most hotels I've been to keep them turned off to save power) as I am diabetic and need to keep my insulin cool. The bed was comfortable and the blankets warm (-5 outside). The shower was nice and hot. I was not disturbed by my neighbors nor by the people upstairs. Overall the stay was very nice. Downsides: I tried 3 different WiFi connections, none worked. Three pillows were all I had and there were only two towels. I did not ask for more of either so I cannot tell you if they would have accommodated me. I thought the room was a little overpriced but but not so much that I'd keep me from staying there again the next time I travel through that area.

When we first arrive our room didn't have heat, after contacting the front desk, we were quickly moved to a room that had heat. The rooms were very clean, a little outdated, but very clean. The staff was nice and helped us with anything that we needed. As hunters, the motel provided us with unlimited bags of ice for our coolers. Although the place looks a little rough, it is a work in progress. If I could give the owners any advice it would be to close a number of rooms a little at a time and remodel them. I spoke to a lot of other hunters and we all agreed that a little more outdoor decor and some fresh paint will brighten the place up. Overall, we will be staying here again every hunting season.
