Are you kidding me? After stopping work immediately to call both Benton and Washington counties to ensure there was not in fact a warrant out (which there wasn't), I called the attorneys' office. The initial administrator was rude and short with me. Eventually I spoke to one of their attorneys who said, and I quote: "We get a list from the jails and send out the mailer from the information in that database." First of all, after a few minutes, he walked back that statement because my information WASN'T with the jail. Second of all, he was entirely unapologetic and refused to acknowledge that this type of advertising is corrosive and absolutely unacceptable. If I had actually been charged with a crime I would probably consider using them. However to tell me that being issued a speeding citation justifies what he said dismissively was "fairly standard boilerplate language" is absurd. I will be the first to say I'm an idiot. However I think it's grossly negligent for this organization to advertise their services using such aggressive, escalatory language like that in a mailer. Take a look at the included photo and make your own judgement call. If you received this, would you be concerned?
