they were very disrespectful to me, my gf and my friends. they accused my gift making faces at them when she was making them at me. they tried to separate us because of PDA. I was giving her a piggy back ride to read the rule board. not PDA. sorry I can't read far away without my glasses. we tried to tell them but they refused to listen. we were also harassed by a middle aged woman, but they did nothing about it. prices are great, but nighttime lifeguards do not take their job seriously. they chose to laugh around and play on their phones. Rating based on price changes, not on facility quality. Facility would be 4 strong stars. The price changes that are pushing for people to buy their all access pass is cost prohibitive. I would think that there would be some emphasis on trying to encourage parents to swim with their children. Instead, they're catering to the folks who can afford an elite pool membership. They need to provide an unlimited single pool access pass for parents and children. How is acting like an exclusive, for profit club working towards community building? Their new price scheme is exclusive, to say the least. I just want to teach my children to swim, but they're charging over $20 a visit for my two children and me to swim. read more

LOVE this park! When the rec center is closed there is a PORT-A-POTTY in the park. The play structures are unique and made with imaginative play in mind. There is a stand alone rope structure for kids to climb, what fun! There are two lots for kids to play and a sand pit that has "pretend" logs for just using more imaginative play. MORE playgrounds need this type of play option. Lots of trees, a skate park, grass for soccer games, picnic tables and a nice breeze comes through. read more

Willamalane Swim Center on G street and Lively Park are nice pools with nice facilities however....and this is a huge however....regular monthly paying dues members go directly to the back of the bus. You don't matter beyond the fact that your monthly dues are subsidizing the Swim Teams, the swim lessons and the Aquatic classes for the disabled. You will find the swim teams reserving and taking up the G street pool often-too often-during peak hours when most working dues paying members have time to access the pool. Why aren't the swim teams using the pool during after/early hours? Honestly if you're committed to being on a swim team then 4AM or 9PM training sessions seem legit? You are not important to Willamlane's mission. You pay your dues to keep the facilities up yet find yourself shut out when you go to swim. It's ridiculous. At Lively park it's a very restricted weekend schedule based on swim park recreational swims and monthly members go to the sidelines. This is not a business model based on serving the bulk of paying customers. It's a model based on the majority funding a privileged minority, unless the swim team members are paying $400 a month? A system of limited swim time for the lap pools, putting the majority of paying customers before the few swim team/swim lesson people should be implemented ASAP. Extended hours for both facilities (especially weekends) is sorely needed. A well funded business would be successful to come into the Eugene/Springfield area and build a lap pool focused on lap swimmers and excluding the extra superfluous activities like swim teams and lessons. It would drain a good percentage of paying customers from Willamlane and let them charge "Elite" prices to the "Elite" swimmers; ie the swim teams, to keep operating. read more

Wonderful place to swim-- the staff is every helpful. We've had swim lessons for kids which has been so good during this time!

This is as good as it get's, the pool is near state of the art, the staff is courteous and professional, the water is mostly U/V filtered, plenty of parking, and this pool is cleaner than any pool Ive seen in Eugene/Springfield. Nice pool facilities but hot tub not open to my swim buddies (closed to under 16). After an hour of lap swimming, my kids are chilled ... showers were not any warmer than the pool. Disappointed. read more

I am rating the lap pool: this was a great find while traveling. The pool was nice, 25 yard pool, water was a good temperature, and the fee was cheap [can't remember the exact amount, like $4-5]. I don't recall if they had towels. The showers were older but had some soap. Great find to get my lap swims in while away! read more
