I live in Brooklyn NY but I have several relatives in NC. My cousin Herman Jones and his family…read morelive in Rocky Mount and he is a member of Cherry Hill Missionary Baptist Church. After he was diagnosed with cancer he had to travel to Greenville for treatment. At first, arrangements were made for him to stay in Greenville for daily treatments but then he was required to take that trip several times a week. His wife was not able to take him and the good members of Cherry Hill transported him and waited for as long as it took to take him home after each treatment.This continued until the COVID-19 virus required a different treatment which he has been doing at home. Throughout his illness and treatment your pastor and members have been praying and encouraging him. Last Sunday, the pastor, deacons, trustees and members went to his home and had church outside his home. He was elated and so encouraged by your presence and I just want you to know how thankful I am for you. I praise God that your ministry is living out God's direction to lift up and encourage each other and especially the sick. I pray for Herman and his sister, Dorothy Fenner who is also in treatment for cancer. I pray God's richest blessings on Cherry Hill Missionary Baptist Church, your pastor, leadership and members as you continue teaching, preaching and doing the work of our Lord and our Savior Jesus Christ.
