I would recommend HIGHLY that you stay away from this treatment center for many reasons. The first…read moretelling sign is they have ONE review on Yelp, and that is from their Chief Clinician Officer. Ridiculous that he is writing a review for his treatment center and is the only one. I will keep it as brief as I can. I have to take them to small claims court because of their unethical, unprofessional approach to their patients. Small claims! Most places want what is best for their patients, not this place. I have created thefoundrytruth@gmail.com if you have further questions. I am limiting the detail because I have to take them to court because of their reckless practices. I will mainly speak to the billing, but overall during my time there: -in the first week I was there, one of the patients had smuggled in a bunch of ecstasy pills. They do not do detox themselves. It creates a really unsafe environment -One of the "head" counselors while I was there was maybe 25. He was working on a CAC I. That is who is leading their "treatment". So don't get fooled into thinking they have staff who actually is knowledgeable and has a fair amount of life experiences -They claimed dual diagnostic. I received no help with the mental aspect, I did not see a psychiatrist once. I was prescribed no medication, which, I found out later, was needed and a huge part of making my life manageable so that I could quit drinking -Piss poor documentation from the inexperienced staff, which will lead to insurance denials. Billing -Incorrectly gave me advice on my insurance. I have had to work with CIGNA in order to sort through what was a lie (or just incompetent billing department) and how the procedures should have been done -Mislead my parents that they had to pay out of pocket - $1,000 a day....even though I had insurance. -Did not get authorizations, which is literally the only critical thing a billing department needs to do in order to help. If it was the other way around, where no one was paying, they would have put in all the effort to get paid - They submitted my claim with no authorizations. This is how bad they are. If the treatment center is telling the insurance you should be there, of course the insurance company will deny -I had to initiate and beg someone there to correctly send in the authorizations. -It was denied, recommended I could do IOP. I had been approved 38 days by CIGNA earlier in the year at a different facility. This shows how crap their staff documentation is. Dr. Barnes was my doctor and was nowhere in the notes submitted to the insurance company. Of course CIGNA will deny the claim. Does that sound professional, or even ethical to you? - Worked on another appeal. The foundry REFUSED to provide me any information -I sent Dr. Barnes 3 emails over a 6-week time span asking for help. None were replied too -The "owner" Scott Borden then emailed me and said to "stop intentionally harassing their staff". Keep in mind all I am trying to do is get a reimbursement for treatment -This just shows their unethical, unprofessional, flat out just bad management which obviously can be seen starting with Scott Borden. So, if you want to be screwed over by this treatment center, go ahead. I recommend you looking elsewhere,
