First time using them & was not impressed with their customer service. The ring they fixed for me was done very well. But they tell you one thing but do another. Their pricing was fair. Just wish they had been a little nicer & respectful. I was told they would call when the diamond was fitted. That never happened. I also requested an appraisal & that never happened. Ten minutes, ten dollars, done. How in the world I left here with only spending ten dollars is nothing short of a tiny miracle but I did it. My watch has needed a new battery for some time now and I, being the procrastinator that I am, kept putting it off. I'd still wear it everyday because I love it so but if anyone asks for the time I'm no help. Fast forward to last week. I brought it in to William S Nacol to have it cleaned and the battery replaced while I window shopped all the diamonds. It took ten minutes. Literally. I didn't even have a chance to blow my paycheck on a rose gold fleur de leis bracelet or those pretty diamond earrings. My watch is sparkling again and now tells time. I know I'll be back for that bracelet, though. read more

I visited this store for a simple pair of children's earrings. I was quoted a price of $25. I can immediately tell that there is a problem at checkout. The cashier calls the manager over and they begin discussing the price of the earrings in front of me. "We don't discount Pandora earrings," she says to the manager. The manager then asks her "Why are we discounting these?" Neither of these women are the sales person that sold me the earrings. They proceed to call the salesperson over and explain to her (still in front of me) that they don't discount Pandora earrings. She says that she didn't know. The manager advises me that they are $40, not $25. I tell her that I didn't ask for a discount. The salesperson heads to grab a Pandora box for my purchase. The manager tells her that I don't need the box. After all of the rigmarole for a $15 difference for PANDORA jewelry right in front of me, she deemed it unnecessary to give me the Pandora box. The entire transaction was very unprofessional and should have been discussed once I was gone. I will not visit this store again. read more

Do NOT get jewelry made or take jewelry to this jeweler. 1) my wedding band was not done on time and I had to call and remind them of the wedding date. I had to call and ask if it was ready - I was never called and told it was ready. 2) family heirloom diamonds fell out of the ring after it was made 3) a year later and other jewelers will not touch the ring because it is so fragile and the rest of the diamonds are so loose. I went to nacols to address this and they never even looked at the ring under the microscope (which other jewelers did). Told me they would just tighten it for $25 despite the fact that two other jewelers said it needed to be remade. The manager (I guess - he never introduced himself) was very dismissive and flippant and said "well just tighten it. $25" and then walked away. Never apologized, never followed up, very dismissive. read more

I ordered a ring online from a jewelry store that I liked recently. Well I asked her to marry me and she said yes! Only problem is I ordered the wrong size. Well my fiance called around to see about getting it sized in a short amount of time and she came across this place. The lady on the phone was very nice and told us to come in and we would have it back in 2 days. I think to myself, "awesome!". So we get there and the lady was very nice again and introduced us to her brother who was going to handle the sizing. Write of the bat he made a sly comment about me buying the ring online and then he went about sizing my fiance's finger. He then wondered how I could have been so off on the size. Once again very rude! He also cut her off when she said that she wasn't comfortable with the ring size he estimated because it was a little tight and she knows her finger fluctuates in size. He said, "No, your a five, that's it" Then he went in the back and as he was walking to the back he looked at the ring and said, " this is going to be fun". He came back to the front and said since the ring had stones coming down the sides that he would have to do more to size the ring. So the price went from $35 to $100. This whole time he was very rude and showed that he was aggravated with us and his sister. Funny thing was I still need a ring and was just going to get it there. Well we walked out never to return again. Go somewhere else for your jewelry needs. It took all I had not to make a scene. read more

I went into this business on Monday to sell a diamond engagement ring. A blonde employee told me that they were willing to offer me $230 for the ring and that offer was guaranteed for one week. I went back into the store today, Friday, and I told a different employee that I was ready to sell the ring and I would like them to honor their price of $230. A man came out and said, "this ring is only worth $125 to me." When I told him about the price they had promised me, he said "well that doesn't matter now that my opinion is in the mix. You better run down to the other store that offered you a similar price and jump on it." I was planning on putting the $230 toward another piece of jewelry but I was highly displeased with them not honoring what they said. The man was actually very rude about the whole thing as well. Horrible customer service and not a very honest company. read more

I brought in my 50 year old+ antique wedding set for resizing (up only 1/2 size) & still never heard back from their office by the end of closing 5 days later, the date promised. These rings are a family heirloom & not hearing anything from them today not only breaks my heart, it makes me very nervous as it is one of a kind and irreplaceable. I say this b/c my MIL gave the rings to us & she has since passed away. If the servicing of my rings has been determined to take longer than promised a phone call to keep us informed would have been an appreciated step as far as courtesy & customer service is concerned. I understand that the employees see fancy jewelry & pricey diamonds everyday & it may not be a "big deal" to them, but to my husband & me...this is a HUGE deal. Now, I have to wait until the seventh day to call their business to find out what is going on. I have never been "sold" on their customer service and salesmanship, but since they helped to restore the rings 16 years ago...we brought our business back to Wm. S. Nacol. I am questioning our patronage choice. read more
