Perhaps struggling to attract the volumes of customers it once enjoyed, Williams' is your typical local bakers, offering a broad range of freshly baked loafs, rolls and cakes. The bread is certainly very nice, as are the other freshly prepared delights on offer. With this baker still struggling to keep up with the 21st century, it is perhaps in need of a little refurbishment and fine tuning. It does however maintain a distinct air of authenticity and it's fair to say that real care and attention goes into the foods preparation.
In close proximity to a butchers, laundrette and news agents, it's nice to see that local businesses are still in existence, despite the economic difficulties. With things not made easier by the four of five convenience stores situated on the nearby high street, it's unlikely that this Baker will be able to maintain itself as a popular source of baked produce. However, whilst it does continue to do trade, it will continue to please its loyal customers. read more
