I love that they have these everywhere on Bourbon Street!! The food is so good. The chicken is very seasoned so if you not a person that like to taste every piece of seasoning in every bite then this is not the place for you. The vibe gives after the club. You can either go in there while you are completely wasted or to kick the party off. And the drinks !! Be careful with the drinks. Theres several of these in NOLA. We stopped in on the one on Bourbon; no fried chicken this time yet it looks and sounds so good! We had some of their daiquiri blends; the waitress let us sample a few to choose from. So we needed to see what the hype was about the Louisiana fried chicken. I honestly expected it to taste like Popeyes (LOL). However, it was a different but good flavor on its own! We had it late night on our last night in NOLA which was cool. We paired it with one of their frozen mango daiquiris. That joint was SO SWEET!!!! While In NO, we passed by a few of these establishments within a short distance. I figured it must be delicious if they are all so close together and seem to all be thriving. We were on our way back to our hotel late one night and decided to give it a try. I wish we hadn't. I ordered the catfish and fries. Both tasted like they were frozen. With enough sauce, the fries were at least palatable but the fish had a hard "shell" on it which was supposed to be batter of some sort? It didn't even stick to the fish. The biscuit was good. Had I known this, I would have just ordered biscuits. My husband ordered pizza from the pizza side, on Canal street. $45 for a whole pizza. There was very little sauce on it and the crust tasted more like cornmeal than flour. We wasted $70 on pizza and catfish. This can't be original NO flavor! We would have been better off going down the street to Dominoes and grabbing pizza and wings.
