She was introduced to other dogs one at a time (female first then male) then into the general play area. She had a bath and a blueberry facial! Came home exhausted. Had a nap then came out to socialize with the family for a little while before an early bed. When I took her back this morning, she hesitated at the door but then went in. Staff is friendly and really seems to care about the animals. I am able to monitor her play on the web cams during the day. I think she'll be very happy there. They have always shown compassion, professionalism and are reasonably priced. The doctors make you feel like your situation is the most important thing going on. We had a situation a couple of weeks ago that reinforced our opinion of these amazing caregivers. We brought our 14 month old Cocker Spaniel puppy named Brees in one morning because he couldn't urinate. Dr. Danny Mount immediately diagnosed bladder stones. Within the hour he performed successful emergency surgery. He called and let us know all went well. He was going to need hospital care for a couple of days. We went to visit our puppy the next day and as they were bringing him to us he started having seizures. It was very sad and scary. Dr. Mount immediately gave him meds to try and stop the seizing. At the same time he began trying to figure out what was causing this. He dropped everything when we were there and spent at least an hour or more talking to us. Eventually we had to leave and planned to come back the next day. We came back the next day and Brees was still in the same condition. Meanwhile Dr. Mount along with his son Dr. Jonathan Mount had figured out the problem. I won't get into the diagnosis, but I will say that it was something he had his whole life and we had no idea. We found out that Dr. Danny could check on the animals via cameras. He saw that night that Brees was not doing well and at midnight he drove an hour and spent the entire rest of the night taking care of our puppy. After another morning of talking with Dr. Mount and holding our puppy we left again with plans to return on Saturday. Dr. Mount also decided on a plan of action to treat Brees. Saturday morning Dr. Danny called and said he had been there again most of the night with our puppy but he had passed away at around 4:00am. I went back to the clinic and Dr. Danny and Dr. Jonathan spent all the time I wanted talking to me. We feel very confident the two doctors did everything they could to make our puppy well again but it just wasn't to be. If you want to take your animals somewhere that you know they will get amazing care then take them to "Pet Care Center".

Back in July, 2 of my dogs were boarded for about 6 days. When I picked them up, I had noticed there was blood on the floor in the lobby, but didn't think anything of it. We went back home and when I was unloading the dogs in the car, I saw that there was blood all over one of the floor mats. After further inspection, it was one of my dogs. They had clipped the quick and was bleeding while still in the facility. He had a rash that was really bad, had hives, lost the hair behind his ears, and had a double ear infection. I was not told any of this when I picked him up, but you can physically see it. He's never been back. On Monday, my sisters cat was showing some pretty disturbing signs. She wasn't eating, drinking, using the bathroom, balance issues, or had any energy. She was just stiff. She was set to have an appt with them on Friday, just to get shots but I called to see if they could see her then. We went there and they checked out her out. They said it was an upper respiratory infection. They gave her some injections, did some bloodwork, and gave her some medicine. Throughout yesterday, she wasn't getting better, but she wasn't declining. Around 10pm last night, she took a turn for the worst and was rushed to VCA's ER. We then found out that it wasn't an upper respiratory infection, it was something neurological and her eyes were twitching. They kept her overnight to see if they could turn it around. 5 AM this morning, we got a call that she did not make it due to organ failure. The bloodwork showed that. Her liver and kidneys shut down. It was probably something she ingested, but it is unknown on what. I gave them a pass for my boy and took him to somewhere else, but I wasn't expecting them to drop the ball on something like this. My sister's cat was failed terribly. They told us over the phone that they ASSUMED it was an upper respiratory infection because she had one in the past while she was at the humane shelter before she was adopted by my sister. So basically, forget trying to find other causes and just give her all these treatments that cost almost $400 that did nothing. We brought her to the VCA ER and it took them no time to figure out what was going on. It was never an upper respiratory infection. Do better.

The person who answered the phone at the clinic asked the right questions to help me determine it was likely a back injury or slipped disc. But she let me know it was a two hour wait to see the vet with it being late Sunday evening, so I got on the list and told her I would cancel later if the dog improved. He did seem to stabilize, so I called back and scheduled an appointment for 11 AM the next morning. Since I was visiting from out of town, I was really thankful to find someone who could fit him in on such a short notice. Dr. Carswell saw him without a wait on Monday morning and confirmed it was his back. She offered an MRI but did not pressure me at all to proceed. I decided to treat him conservatively with pain meds and take him to my vet at home in case he needed surgery. She gave him a shot and sent him home on gabapetin and prednisone. Then she called four days later to see how he was doing. I was so impressed with the front desk staff from the first phone call to the visit with the vet and the follow-up. If I lived in Montgomery, this would be my first choice for vet care. I am glad to know I can take them there in the future when we are visiting family. I thought their prices were very reasonable considering they are offering 24/7 care which is hard to find anywhere. I live in Atlanta, and finding care like this on short notice is remarkable.

When we started with this vet, we had 3 of the sweetest most loving dogs God ever put on earth. One passed from cancer 12/30/2020. We had her cremated and got a beautiful bag with her ashes, a paw print and lock of hair. She went in the urn with our previous 2 babies. Our sweet Duchess passed with cancer on 6/5/2021 and again we had her cremated and got a beautiful bag with her ashes, a paw print and lock of hair. I took Duchess' ashes and set her in the closet to wait for her brother so they could be put in the urn with the other babies together (they had never been apart since birth). That same month, Duchess' brother, Duke, was diagnosed with kidney failure and we were told he would not make it very long, however there is no way to predict a time frame. I took great care of Duke. I made sure he only ate the proper foods, had plenty of water using syringes up to 10 or 12 times a day to keep his kidneys flushed. We had to take him to the vet several time and each time it was over $350. Duke started to succumb to the kidney disease and on 1/13/2023 we made the decision to peacefully end his life. The doctor administers the drug and within seconds, he sweet little heart stopped, and he was at peace. My heart was shattered into infinite pieces, and we were left alone to say our goodbyes. Shortly after everyone left the room, Duke's right leg went straight up in the air and then slowly came back down to gently rest on top of his other leg. Several of the assistants and Duke's groomer came to see if we were alright and asked if we were going to get another dog. We told them that at our age we had decided not to get another as saying goodbye we just too traumatic and emotionally draining. We asked, and paid, for Duke to be cremated in the same fashion as his sister. After nearly a month of continued calling and checking, we were told they had not had Duke cremated, but rather "Disposed" of his body. When I learned of this news, I collapsed to the floor in agony. It has now been 2 months and I am still unable to process what "disposed" of the body even means; I only picture him being discarded in a dumpster like ordinary trash. I was grieving his death; however, I will never have closure to the wonderful 15+ years my sweet baby gave me. I will never be able to process what they did to him. I am unable to be around dogs now. I won't go visit my friends who have dogs as it is too painful. I don't know if that will ever change, I don't know if I will ever heal or if I will ever be the same. I am unable to take Duchess and put her in her final resting place because she should have her brother with her. Once these people found out we were not going to get another dog, and that we would not be spending any more money with them, they simply discarded us as human beings with feelings and then simply "disposed" of my sweet precious Duke as though he was a piece of trash. If your pet is a loved family member, find a better place for their care.

I sent multiple follow-up emails regarding the missing results and requested a refund, but all my communications were completely ignored. Thankfully, my cat recovered on her own, making the delayed results useless. Failing to deliver test results while ignoring a client's repeated inquiries is completely unprofessional. I ended up having to dispute the charge through my credit card. I do not recommend this clinic if you expect basic communication and reliable service.
