Anyway, this place did give a break on the room. Note supply and demand. ONLY room left - king suite, quoted over $300, but did give a break of $100, so for 2 of us $228.89 out the door. There is no breakfast room since this is a extended stay type. This hotel is new, clean and nicely decorated. The doors are very heavy, so you can hear (and feel sometimes) the doors opening and closing in the hallway. The restaurant - Big Willy's - in the hotel was good. But again, it took sometime to get the food because of the how busy it was. Was told by a oil guy, doesn't matter where you would have gone all the places are busy when the work crews get back from their day. I would recommend this place to those that would need a extended stay or going to the lake for along weekend and would like to cook or have a larger group to hang out in a room.

As many know, the oil boom has made lodging in Williston hard to come by. My usual Hampton Inn was sold out months before, and even with Diamond status with Hilton, still couldn't book a room. After Best Western completely screwed up my reservation, I was thankfully able to get a room for two nights here, and in a way I'm kind of glad my reservations got derailed. This place is a total breathe of fresh air in the, um, interesting town of Williston. This hotel has full-service amenities (including room service, a 24-hour pantry for microwaveable meals and other accoutrements, gym, pool, and full bar) and ran me about $299/night, which is pricey, but you don't really have much choice out here. It might be cheaper if you book it in advance when you don't have other hotels dicking your reservations over. The rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful, something hard to come by 'round these parts. There's your usual drunken riff-raff that come around at night (fat hookers and loud, drunken rednecks) but as long as you stay in your room it's not that bad. It's WILLISTON. Cuddle up in the free robe they give you, watch a movie on the free fast wi-fi, and be grateful you don't have to live out here.

It was a little ironic because we arrived ready to get to our final destination, and then had to wait for an employee to come and open it for all of us. I will say picking up our rental car was hassle free and quick. The rental car employee was super kind and made sure to assure us the rental car cleanliness fee was for oil stains and such. When our trip eventually ended we arrived early to depart and there were no airport employees there yet. I guess they arrive at 9am? I'd probably fly through here again though, it's so beautiful.
