I have a simple hair style so have used 5 different stylist and have been satisfied with all of them. In terms of cost I think it is fair for the quality you get. I have lived in Toronto and have paid 20% less but for Durham region it is fair. I've been to 4 other barbers in Oshawa but will stick to this one based on the overall value and quality received.

Although the front desk service is still top notch, this place has high turnover and quality has gone down. In the past year I have gone through 3 stylists, because they keep leaving! I need stability people. Someone who understand my hair and what I like, so I can enjoy my trip to the salon. In the past year I have returned home with a terrible hair cut because none of the 3 hair stylists understood my hair. They didn't have the time to! If you can get a stylist who will stick by you for a few years, then I'm sure Aquilibrium will be a great place to go. However, based on my recent experiences they have turned away a loyal customer. I was pleasantly surprised with the service. Daniela is amazing, very sweet, and attentive. I did have one bad experience here when Daniela was not available. The stylist they gave me got distracted a lot, disappeared for long periods of time and did not tell me why, and did not provide good advice on my preferred choice.
