Being a Big Sur/Monterey local, Adam provided extremely helpful insight and feedback for my proposal. He definitely helped relieve a lot of the stress during the planning phase of my proposal. On the day of the actual shoot, the day-of jitters was overwhelming at times, but Adam's energy and demeanor was very centering. He was patient and gave my new fiancee and I space to calm ourselves, and also knew when to take charge and guide us with our poses. He also had amazing and creative ideas for how to pose and brought us to local, reclusive spots to take intimate photos. Rebecca was the only photographer in the area who was willing to work only three hours on a Saturday evening, versus the typical 5-8 hour packages everyone else required. Rebecca and her assistant took us to the Surfrider Museum before the ceremony to get some shots of the two of us. I thought we'd just go and get a few and be done, but they were willing to go to multiple areas to get a range of backgrounds. I loved her creative eye taking us to a field of dried grass and trees - the photos there turned out great! She was even willing to edit and send me a handful of photos just a few days after the wedding so I could include them in a slideshow we were showing at a hometown reception the next weekend. We first booked Patricia for our maternity session, 6 years ago, and have been using her for all of our family photos ever since: Newborn session, smash cake, first birthday party and every year, we try taking advantage of the 2 pre-booked sessions (Mommy & Me and the Fall Session, which is announced on her social media) - usually it happens in April and September/October. I highly recommend taking advantage of it as I find these to be very convenient, by keeping us on a schedule to get us captured twice a year, around the same time - it's a lot of fun to look back and see how much we have all changed in a 6 month period and through the years.
