Thank you to the vets at the Tunstall practice who looked after our little cat Bertie when he had pneumonia. After being an inpatient for two days he came home and slowly recovered and is now a very well and happy cat looking forward to Christmas with his family. We are so glad to have him fit and well again, specially his 'Dad". A big thank you to everyone who looked after him. read more

I used Willow Vetinary Clinic for 21 years without any problems. During the last 8 years, my male cat had pancreatitis. I was not able to get insurance for him, so had to pay for all treatment myself. I have a number of rescue cats. I paid all bills over the last 21 years without question. During 2010/2011 my then 13 year old developed a knee problem. I was concerned with regard to her treatment. she had a plastic knee which cost over £500.00 with the cage I was advised to buy and other things. she had to be kept in the cage which ended in being a duration of over 6/7 weeks as the hole in her leg did not heal. She was stitched and stapled. no collar was put on at first until WE requested it. Finally, being exasperated I returned to the vet for the 6th time, seeing a different vet, and saying I wanted to leave my cat there until they had sorted out the problem. I had a 4 year old granddaughter and my cats leg was oozing rubbish. I telephoned to see how she was and a very snooty receptionist told me that she had taken so long to heal because I hand't followed their advice. I had! I bought a cage £50.00 another litter tray. kept her in it for far too long. returned to the vet 6 times which cost for the fuel and time off work. I told her this two weeks later I received a letter saying they did not want me as a customer any longer. my husband was livid. I wrote for an explanation and was completely ignored. I contacted them some months later because my pancreatic cat was very ill and they wouldn't treat her. So what point it the Royal College of Vets advising people to contact the vet in the first instance. Once you question anything thats it absolutely shocking treatment and I don't believe they care two hoots about the animals because they would not treat mine even though they knew he could die. Really caring vets if you have nowhere else to go, yes use these Willows in Endon. read more

I cant find the words other than a BIG THANKYOU, to all the staff at the Tunstall practice during my hour of need,?? My little companion "raggsy" a yorky / jack russel cross,, was rolling round the carpet on his back really crying out in pain, almost howling,, Well as it was coming up to xmas eve , I was frantic to get a vet, i thought no chance,, but ive used Willow for about seven yrs, so try my luck with them being open,?? Bearing in mind No insurance, ime in mid 70s, disabled, coupled up to Oxygen 24/7, no family to help. I rang,, low and behold someone answered my call,, i explained the situation and my predicament in getting there, they promptly dispatched a vet,, After other visits over the next few days , my little friend was admitted x-rayed, operated on and bingo,,, job done,, Oh what a relief,,and my little mate is mending a treat,, so to Victoria,,Shaun,,Clive,,not forgetting Sophie, infact all staff involved a great big thanks. The most important thing is where do you find a vet that dosnt make excuses , and dont charge ext fees, and just put your pet first,, and offer help regarding you and your pet, at WILLOW of course,,try them,? HAPPY NEW YEAR, to all at Willow vetinary Endon and Tustall. Regards, James Pye ( & Raggsy). read more

I cannot fault Willow Veterinary. 3 years when my girl was having a difficult whelp they provided excellent out of hours emergency care. At first was advice over the phone, which was excellent and very reassuring, as things were not progressing as they should my girl needed to have an emergency c-section. This was carried out with the utmost care and advice from the vet when we arrived at Endon practice. I have the same exeperience recently where my other girl is having a delayed whelp, again the same excellent support on the other end of the phone. I cannot fault this veterinary practice one bit, where many vets now resort to using a franchise company for emergency out of hours care Willow Vets, is the actual vet staff which in my opinion and luckily for my dogs is a massive bonus! I am very grateful for there support and advice being at the end of the phone regardless of the time of day is a massive reassurance. read more

No stars i give minus 5 if i could. a joke completely brainless when it comes to treating a cat thats been attacked by a dog. they put it in the same room as barking dogs to recover after operating on it. not set foot in the place since and never will again. and that clive curry is an arrogant miserable git. read more
