A large selection of items but many are overpriced. They regularly have 'special offers' in which…read moreselected items are brought down to a reasonable price but they quickly shoot back up again. The customer service at this store is particularly poor as the staff do not seem to understand the meaning of their job titles. They are generally unhelpful and can be sarcastic when you are asking for hep. Their returns policy is a joke as they are reluctant to accept any returns and try to fob you off. If you are buying an item e.g electricals that is kept in their secure warehouse, you are likely to find the packaging very damaged and the contents may not work for that reason.

Hawkins Bazaar has recently opened in the Kingsgate centre and have to say already its one of my…read morefavourite shops it has a collection of odd and unique collection of toys gadgets and gifts. The go out of their way to source out of the ordinary products which appeal to all different age groups. The have products like space hoppers, flippin pets, wind up toys as well loads books, puzzles, science experiments, party bag loot games and a whole lot more think gadget shop but a whole lot better.

They used to have a larger store and stock Raleigh bikes; however they have now moved to slightly smaller premises just along the road. They do make use of the smaller space they have though, with a vast variety of toys and games available. Staff are keen to make sure you find what you want, and seem to be very knowledgeable. One disappointing thing would be that there wasn't any noticeable access to the upper floor up at the back of the shop and with a pram, it meant that only one of us could look up stairs at any one time.

One of the chain Disney stores. Quite a small store compared to some of the other ones in say…read moreEdinburgh or Glasgow, but this Disney store is the only one in Aberdeen. The staff always seem friendly and polite and there is always a Disney film or Disney music playing on massive screens at the back of the shop. There are two tills in the shop so if it is busy, it never takes long to get served. There is a wide selection of toys in all different sizes, dvds, clothes (mostly socks and pants, and a few tshirts and costumes for children) and kitchenware (mostly mugs). I really like the items they have for sale in the Disney store. Not only can you find presents for children, but also big children too! The prices are expensive, the same as in all the Disney stores.. but there are often sales on. When the sales are on, the items on offer are placed on stands at the front of the shop so they are nice and easy to see.
