Long story short the lighting in the shop played tricks on the eye because it looked matte chrome but when I opened it up at home in good lighting I could clearly see it was not matte chrome but a rose gold colored... not really what a guy like me wants to carry around. I attempted to exchange this mod still being brand new and they wouldn't honor the exchange because "it's a tobacco product". I guess I'm stuck with it because it is "opened" even though it was already opened by the store to put on display, had it come in a sealed package it would be my responsibility to check the package (which clearly shows the color better than even a picture of the device) to make sure it is what I want before opening. So I guess buyer beware but I won't be using their services anymore and would suggest everyone else use due diligence and look around and always look twice especially if a product doesn't come "new" in the box even though you are paying for a new product. BTW I live in the Hutchinson Kansas area but I use a VPN on my home network that's why it says I'm from somewhere else.
