They favor the kids who ask less and less questions because they are lazy! The teacher have even talked bad about the student! One instance a teacher had talked about a student during a meeting. In my own personal experience they definitely favor filipino people. The teachers are rude and clicky if your child is any other race don't send them here. The new principal is better than the last though. They also charge ridiculous sums of money such as 8 dollars for arriving before 7:15 and 5 dollars for coming after 8 am. Horrible experience.

These ppl know how to collect tuition but will not help you when needed.

All three kids who were chosen to speak talked about how their teachers invested time with them when they had difficulty with a subject. When it comes to notices, we only get them the day before for spirit week etc. They expect parents to run out and grab clothes for spirit week the night before. Kids can leave out the gate after school without a parent present. Dropping kids off in the morning is chaotic. As much money as we raise for the fundraisers, they should have some sort of staff navigating traffic at least before school.

This has been my daughters first year in middle school, thanks to the encouragement and guidance by her teachers, we have seen great improvements. She is excited to have been selected to participate on Jaime Escalante Math Program this summer. In partnership with ELAC, Carnegie will provide an integrated sequence of intermediate and advance math course, to prepare her for next year and her future. I can't convey how happy we are to see her exited to voluntarily go to school during summer! Also looking forward to next year when Carnegie will proudly add "Magnet" to its name. By the way, kudos to the use of text and social media. Great way to keep us informed and see what's going. Anyone considering a middle school for their kids around Carson, in my bias opinion should consider Carnegie.
