Stones by Earth, Mario Pimenta, stood out head and shoulders above the other five. First, he was the first one to make an appointment to visit and give an estimate. He was the only one who brought samples of his pavers for us to see and feel. He was the only one who left a magazine with color photos of projects and yards done with his pavers. He told us about the quality of the pavers he would use. One guy we talked to didn't know what a fire pit was, and couldn't use email. One guy, a neighbor, said he would use "regular" pavers, whatever that is. He also promised a neighborhood discount, but his estimate was two times higher than Mario's. Another guy came out and took notes and measurements and over a week later he sent a text asking if we had decided on anyone else, because it took a lot of time to figure an estimate and he didn't want to waste his! Two others we called never called us back! Mario was prompt, friendly, and even came by on a Sunday to redo our estimate when we asked him to. His workers were always smiling, enjoyed what they were doing and obviously took pride in their work. Our patio is beautiful and everything we dreamed of having.
