Worst service I've ever experienced from a pharmacy! My usual pharmacy which was located in the pacific palisades burned to the ground like many other homes and businesses; My doctors office which is in Palisades as well is closed so my doctor wrote my prescription and sent to this pharmacy wilshire lapeer that I also have been to within the last year twice; they told me when he wrote it 3 weeks ago that they didn't have the medication but to call back in 3 weeks, I called back and they told me they have the medication but won't fill it because they have hit the max amount of patients, no other explanation but figure out somewhere else and hung up. read more

AMAZING!!! Can I give them more than 5 stars? This was the first time using this pharmacy and I'm beyond impressed. We needed a prescription that was out of stock at our usual big chain pharmacy. I called around to different pharmacies without much luck and got so lucky that Wilshire-Lapeer had what we needed. The pharm tech who answered the phone was so nice and friendly and got all the information she needed from us to put the order through and also called the doctors office to get the prescription transferred. We talked to the pharmacist who was wonderful, knowledgable, attentive, and kind too. They were able to deliver the medication for free that same day. They also called us to let us know the medication had arrived. Lastly, to our surprise, not only did we get our medication but they put some candies in the bag too including a York Peppermint Pattie, a family favorite. This pharmacy truly goes above and beyond for their customers. Would 100% come here again! read more

This pharmacy sells a good product. I am not aware of any other place in the county that sells it. Hardly any websites sell it either. I was surprised that the pharmacy is on the small side, and it's carrying this product in stock readily for sale, as a convenient purchase, is a testament to the thought, care, research and familiarity with which product quality and customer needs are considered in the inventory selection. The pharmacy has a simultaneously cozy yet spacious ambiance in spite of its small size. It is neat and clean and has an immediately welcoming aura. The woman who answered the phone as I had first called sounded right away friendlier, more caring, more attentive and more efficient, all at the same time, than any other place I had called. She listened carefully to my question and was quick and responsive. She had an intuitive, empathetic sense for what I, as a customer, needed. She quickly checked, then answered my inquiry that, thankfully, the product was in stock. Then she gave clear, helpful instructions how to locate the pharmacy and where to park. She even gave a great tip about where to find neighborhood parking an enjoyable, short stroll away. At the store, the pharmacist knew exactly where the product was immediately. He spoke very knowledgeably. He showed empathy and was memorably thoughtful, intelligent, intellectually curious, pleasant, humble, honest and engaging. Since I had just been to another pharmacy days before, I only therefore had been searching for this one item, though I ended up happy that it led me to discover this hidden, charming pharmacy that I look forward to seeing again. read more

We used to get all our meds filled at a typical big box chain place... zero care/attention there. Long lines. Poor Service. I love supporting small businesses. If I had a tiny pharmacy near my home I would probably prefer that over me using Walgreens. I go to the pharmacy at Walgreens by my house for years so they know me by now but any time I go to a large pharmacy I always feel like a number. This pharmacy is so homey and cute and the people are nice. Really convenient when you visit your doctor upstairs and need meds right away. read more

Best pharmacist ever! A pharmacy that's as it ought to be with personal attention and care given to customers, unlike generic "big box" pharmacies (e.g. CVS or supermarket pharmacies). While I do wish they had the ability to run my prescription charges through my insurance/cafeteria plan card, the personal attention and reasonable rates more than make up for that inconvenience. Plus they offer lots of other good non-medical stuff to buy! read more

Excellent staff. I've never met such a knowledgable pharmacist. Just now, he noticed that the quantity of my prescription was lower than what it should be and contacted the doctor to get it right. I know that if I were at a cvs or one of the other pharmacies no one would have cared to double check. Also the lady at the front desk is super helpful and knowledgable. She spent time with me to help me figure out which OTC medication would work for my son. read more

This pharmacy reminds me of the pharmacy I worked in during High School. Elliot is outstanding in terms of his knowledge, sensitivity and t competency. He is very calm and patient. He spend time transferring a prescription ( because product was not in stock) to a larger pharmacy. This took persistence especially because they did not respond to his calls. This pharmacy is very small and as such, is able to offer top-notch service due to not being "flooded" with clients as most large pharmacies are. The staff is consistently friendly, helpful and very thorough in the services they provide. Unlike my last pharmacy (and my reason for switching to Wilshire-Lapeer), this pharmacy doesn't make a bunch of mistakes. Their company motto is "We Solve Problems" and they sure do. They got the mess with my last pharmacy straightened out and they are very prompt if you need to have your medication mailed or delivered to you. They offer very individualized service & do cool things like putting candies/sweets in the delivery bags they send out to clients-- a small touch, but much appreciated. As a cancer survivor, I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

Very caring and personalized service that you will not find in the larger pharmacies. We needed a hard to find medication and called around to a half a dozen local pharmacies and none of them would go out of their way to try to find the distributor. Wilshire Lapeer was able to locate the medication and was delivered the very next day. Now that is great service. The head pharmacist, Elliot and his staff go out of their way in a professional and personalized manner that is all too rare in this day and age. read more

Wow, this pharmacy is incredible-- I just want to thank the wonderful staff so very much. My daughter needed a medical device that I couldn't find at any other nearby pharmacies, and I was having trouble getting her doctor to transfer the order to a store that carried it. The doctor finally called this pharmacy about 8 minutes before its closing time, which was too late for me to get there before it closed. When I told the pharmacy representative that I would pick it up first thing in the morning, she said that a staff member would deliver it to my home for free tonight because he wanted to make sure my daughter had it-- and on his own initiative, he did deliver it to us (along with candy)! I am so grateful and amazed at how caring he and his fellow staff members were today when we needed help. My family will definitely be using this pharmacy in the future. This is a pharmacy like no other, it's like going back to the good old days when people mattered! The head pharmacist, Elliott, is always so helpful and knowledgeable and willing to spend as much time as you need. And then there's the next pharmacist, Monica who is also a remarkable person with the knowledge and compassion everyone needs. The staff is headed up by Bobbi, she pretty much runs the place making sure prescriptions, paperwork, customer needs,etc, are all taken care of, plus she's absolutely a joy to deal with! Their computers were "down" today and they couldn't apply my insurance to any of my medications. I had to pay the full price that came out to more than $100. This should not be happening at a pharmacy. Technical difficulties at a pharmacy SHOULD NOT PREVENT ME FROM USING MY HEALTH INSURANCE WHEN IN GREAT NEED. They instructed me to "mail" my prescriptions to my insurance company so I could get "refunded" but this is extremely inconvenient for me because I just got out of surgery and will be disabled for a week. Even so, why do I need to take time and effort out of my day to do this and wait like 2-3 weeks for my money because they don't have their shit together? NO I'm not taking the time out of my day to gather an envelope, postage, and walk to the post office because of your mishaps. I'll be talking to my insurance to get refunded another way. I usually don't write bad reviews unless I'm really disappointed so yes, this qualifies for a very disappointing, frustrating event that has caused me great inconvenience(I can't stress this enough). I won't be returning to this pharmacy. read more
