He was supposed to be completed with the work back in August. He did nothing until October when one thing got done out of many. In January I got a visit from the subcontractor that did the one thing that was done, and he was looking for his money. Anthony told him he would pay him within a week, but never did and ignored his calls. To date he has done nothing more, and hasn't even come close to doing the amount of work I already paid him for. Anthony Smoot has now changed all of his phone numbers and ignored all emails to work something out. I looked into him and if you search his name you will find court cases from his last company, A Smooth Home Improvement. You can also find reviews where he took other customers money and never talked to them again. I have filed a complaint with the NC DOJ Consumer Protection. They are trying to contact him and he is ignoring their attempts as well. If he has taken money from you please file a complaint as well so they can track how far his bad business behaviors have gone. Do not trust Anthony Tyrone Smoot in this business, or whatever he will call the next one. I would not even trust a business that hires him, because it would show a real lack of judgment on their part.
