So as the deadline slowly creeped up I panicked. I grabbed the phone and called Sotelo. These guys came by to check the house the same day, sent me an estimate that evening and began the next morning. They worked 12-14 hour days 4 days straight to finish my house in time for listing. They were extremely polite and helpful, even offering to help me move furniture around the house when it was too heavy for me to do alone. I can tell you how impressed I was with their work ethic and the final product. I found a couple spots that needed adjustments and without complaint or hesitation they jumped right on it. I know what a hard job it was and how stressful it had to be for them with the time constraints but they guys were above and beyond what I could have hoped for. The person in charge to schedule an appointment called Annette was not nice from the first time I spoke to her. First she scheduled an appointment for Monday 12/13/2021. When I called her back to provide the parking instructions, she mentioned to me that they do not do their job on Mondays. How could I guess? She also said that the company workers will call me prior to arrive. Well nothing of that happened. When I shared the above with H.D. supervisors in the store, they denied knowing that company. But from where I would have known them if not through H.D.? That was not promising. It was a nightmare to purchase blinds at H.D. from the moment those people left my home. After selecting the colors and decided what to buy, I was glued on the phone for days and spoke to hundred people at H.D. I came to the conclusion that H.D. is not any longer the same quality store I knew years ago. It changed a lot. I won't recommend A&J Blinds Inc. to my best friends. Make sure that H.D. would know who they dispatch to you when they offer a company to measure your windows. Yes it is tricky business and not transparent. One star is well enough!
