Wilson Trees and Landscaping offer qualified Arboriculture / Tree services to the Waikato region. We specialise in tree climbing for canopy pruning, tree trimming, tree removals via sectional dismantle over infrastructure and felling where possible. We run excellent machinery, making cleaning up via chipping a breeze. We own and operate a 5T digger set up with tree grapple to help with large scale tree work or land clearing jobs. We are your tree surgeon professionals providing accountable friendly tree services.

History

Established in 2012.

Craig qualified with his Diploma in Arboriculture in 2005 and Talia qualified with her certificate in Advanced Amenity Horticulture in 2008. Craig is one of Nz's top ranking competition climbing Arborists placing 9th in 2015 and 5th in 2018 at the International Tree Climbing Competitions in America. With our passion for tree work, we have a high standard we deliver to our clients. We are a smaller company, but the scale of our work is very diverse with our experienced Arborists and top of the line equipment we run.

Meet the Business Owner: Talia and Craig W.

I (Talia) grew up in Hamilton where i qualified in 2008 with my Advanced Certificate in Amenity Horticulture following an apprenticeship I began in 2005. I love my work in the outdoors, and I'm known to be friendly, approachable and able to think outside the box by my clients. My main role now is in Admin of the business, and quoting for both Arboriculture and Landscaping work. I look forward to meeting with you. I (Craig) have a passion for trees. I grew up surrounded by trees with my Grandparents having an Arboretum in Otorohanga. I qualified with my Diploma in Arboriculture while working and competing in the industry. I moved to Sweden with Talia where we spent 4 years working in some very beautiful unique places providing top quality tree and landscaping work before we came home to start business in 2012. During this time I have represented Nz twice at the ITCC in America placing 9th and 5th overall.
