Flatbed Towing from a public place. The dispatcher was polite professional listened well. I have a Audi TT 2004. It cannot be dragged behind a tow truck. Even though I have specified this on numerous occasions with other tow trucks on occasion, they have come with the straps for towing behind. Not this company! The driver, Emilio, called me when he was on his way, and told me almost to the dot when he would arrive. As I had to leave my vehicle, this was such a pleasure. He sent me pictures of it up on the flatbed, at the repair shop, and I found this to be out standing service by him ! Such a nice man so friendly and amiable on the phone. BE WARNED. This company will not accept any kind of responsibility for any damage they do to your vehicle. Used AAA and Wimberley Towing was dispatched. Car had ZERO alignment issues before the tow. During the tow the car slipped and jolted back but didn't think much of it at the time. Car was sitting in driveway 3 days until it got repaired by a mobile mechanic on site and the first day driving the alignment was off and within 24 hours we took it to repair shop that said tie rod was bent. This is not something that happens over time. It is my belief (and that of the car repair place) that when the car slipped back while being pulled onto the tow truck, that caused the bend which in turn caused misalignment. It is incredible how this towing company can just say "it's not our fault" when there was no problem beforehand and all of a sudden after the tow there IS a problem which could ONLY be explained by what two people at the tow site saw (the slip of the car which hit metal which could have caused the bend or the improper securing of the vehicle). I really I wish i would have just paid out of pocket to get my car towed by a more reputable towing company. Now I am spending instead more than 3 times to fix a repair caused by this company's negligence. read more

My girlfriend and I were visiting Austin on a little vacation and we rented a car from Hertz to go to Fredericksburg. We were halfway there when our front tire blew out. It was very scary. Was assigned this tow company thru a triple a call when my car stopped switching gears on the highway. They refused to come get me. It was 9pm and they said I would have to wait until the next day....I was stranded on the side of 290. Never ever ever have I had such a horrible dangerous experience. I had to pull the parking brake, leave my car and Uber away. I live out of town and had to return the next day. Terrifying to know I don't have reliable Triple A coverage in this area. read more

He dropped the car from the jack twice damaging the frame of the car and bumper and now this company is refusing to help me due to their negligence. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I would have to start off by saying, if anyone could understand what kind of day yesterday had started out to be, you would understand what part Shawn and Emilio played in showing me that there are still great people in the world. At the time that we desperately was seeking for help, Shawn and Emilio were there. My friend/employee was broken down and Shawn and Emilio happened to pull into the same Auto Parts Store as he was broken down in. I just by happenstance walked in and broke down into tears because all of the emotions of the day had finally released and all I could do was cry. I am sorry Shawn had to be the one to receive this emotion and tears. Long story short Shawn jumped in to show Darius and I grace by giving us a tow around the corner. His Professionalism and Friendly nature is why I can not give this company enough stars. This company deserves so many more! As I later find out, the reason Shawn and Emilio were even there at the Auto Part Store, was because one of their other towing trucks was broken down. For them to take time from their own issues and trouble, to help us shows that these two gentleman have a compassionate/servants character, which is hard to find now days. Alex did an EXCELLENT job of contacting me to let me know he was enroute and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in diagnosing my tire problem. Since his truck was equipped with a compressor, he inflated the tire, checked for an obvious serious leak, and hearing none, assured me that I would be fine driving over to Firestone for a repair/replacement. (Far better option than putting on the spare that came with my car.) read more

I just had an EXCELLENT experience with Wimberley Towing. After accidentally driving my husbands new car into the deep end of the back pasture and having it get stuck in pea gravel, I was under the gun to get it winched out in order to make an appointment. I called Wimberley Towing and the owner himself Shawn roared to my rescue, getting here within a record breaking 20 minutes of my initial call. He was as professional as could be, working quickly to pull the car out to a firm surface. After learning that Shawn also works full time as a Wimberley Fire Fighter, as well as running this excellent service for local residents, I just had to take a moment to sing his praises. His truck was top of the line, and he clearly knew what he was doing, making sure not to damage any of the fiberglass bumper when he winched it out. If anyone needs a good, reputable towing service in the Wimberley, Dripping Springs or Austin area, I highly recommend supporting this very nice man and his awesome company. :) read more

I slid off the road from gravel and crash debris and into a guardrail on Fitzhugh Rd. 9/23/2017 at 4:00 p.m. a mile from my work location on my way to work. Hays County deputy sheriff showed up and rather than allow me to contact my insurance co. for roadside assistance to tow my vehicle off the side of the road to my mechanic 5 minutes away he called Wimberley Towing who has a contract with Hays Co. Sherrif Office. Wimberley towing destroyed my vehicle rather than opening up the gate on the side of the road they drug it over the guardrail and a big wooden post and did massive damage underneath and to the body. They totaled it and then asked me for the title to cover the towing and storage expense. I am seeking legal recourse now. They are very smug and denied doing any damage although there are before and after photos. Be forewarned they are malicious. read more

Some friends and I were riding our bicycles in a law abiding and safe manner in the Kyle area on RM 150 this morning when a driver in a Wimberley Towing truck passed us. It should be noted that we were as close to the curb as possible; if we moved any closer to the curb, we would have been in the gutter. When the driver passed us, he or she came within inches of striking us. Wimberley Towing's driver was so careless and so impatient that he or she nearly seriously injured or killed three cyclists who were riding their bikes in a safe and law abiding manner. This towing company will never receive any of my business, even if I am stranded in the middle of no where and Wimberley Towing is the only towing company available. I will make sure to pass my experience to my friends, family, and fellow cyclists so they can also see the recklessness of such a careless driver who should be driving with the utmost professionalism. I am very disappointed in such behavior and hope that such actions are corrected as quickly as possible. read more
