Well run museum with helpful and friendly staff. It's small but filled with great memorabilia, including shoes and outfits worn by the greats (Williams sisters, Andy Murray, Federer etc). Lots of fun facts included too, such as how many tennis balls and strawberries they go through each tournament! The museum itself is also very well maintained.
We went before the summer so it wasn't busy and was very pleasant to walk around. They offer audio self guided tours if you're looking for more information, but all the displays have signs.
The gift shop is great for classic Wimbledon merchandise, including the staple green and purple umbrella. Pricing is what you'd expect from such a store so be prepared to spend. The quality is great though so you get what you're paying for and they had a large sale rack. They can also personalise items like the towels and shirts which one of the girls in our group did.
You can also do a tour of Centre Court which was amazing to see as they prepare it for the championship! I definitely recommend if you're a tennis fan. read more
