There appears to be two owners, both friendly and professional. You can ask anything about what they have on display and you'll receive a knowledgeable and satisfying answer. Look out for some awesome pieces by an artist called Emma Clark, the perfect addition to any room in your house you may feel is a little bland.

It is very relaxed and you can pop in and browse whenever they are open. I always also use La Galleria for all my framing needs - from old prints to pieces of art to prized photographs, they will take the time with you to choose the best frame, mount and setting. So far, they've done everything from a cheap print that my daughter liked, to a family heirloom in need of some TLC. The owners take the time to talk through your requirements and make sure you are entirely happy with your choices. Great care and attention was paid to both tasks equally, despite the different pieces of 'art' and the finished article was excellent. My daughter loves her first picture on her wall, and our grandmother's painting can now finally go on our wall at home! I highly recommend this gallery and framers.

It seeks to support artists, through a public programme of exhibitions, commissions, live events and other off site projects. Voltaire also provides affordable studios for London based artists. The studios are located next to the large exhibition space, and there's a really great feeling that everyone is in to together; no one has an ego and the whole of Voltaire runs on a structure of helping each other out. Some of the artists that have/had studios and exhibitions at Voltaire include: Painter Dawn Mellor (She is fantastic), Performance artist Spartacus Chetwynd and Donald Urquhart. Their private views and events are always very fun, social events and i urge you check their website and keep an eye out for whats coming up. Also, if you're interesting in investing in some art, they have (to date) published three 'Portfolios' available to buy for £1,500, the latest has just been made available and includes Nick Relph and Oliver Payne, alongside others. Unfortunately for this gallery, I find that it is located in a rather unlikely place, in the middle of a residential upmarket area and is a bit hard to access. She then stole the painting and took it to england without any notice. When I protested, she claimed I was being dramatic and told me to wait. One year later, I hadn't received any funds from them. I consulted a solicitor in London and only under legal threat did Gillie pay, but just one half of the value of my painting. Total scam artists.
