We never even spoke over the phone, yet her communication and customer service were top-notch. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the appointment the day before. A full refund was processed immediately--no questions asked. Leigh was so understanding and accommodating of our situation, which left a lasting impression. Fortunately the following week, I was able to reschedule and once again, Leigh made it happen seamlessly. Our assigned inspector Marc Freislinger came out on a Sunday, arriving early and already working when we got there. He was friendly, thorough, and easy to talk to. During the review, he walked us through everything clearly and even offered valuable advice on what to ask the builder regarding repairs. That same evening, he sent a detailed inspection report--complete with clear photos and notes--just as promised. I can't recommend Desert State Home Inspections highly enough. Their professionalism, honesty, and genuine care for their clients truly set them apart. Don't let their other good reviews make you think they know what they're doing, cause they obviously don't.

But the thing that I really appreciated was that after the inspection, they've already been paid, and I'm hiring people to do the repairs. I texted the inspector several times for follow up details and help weeding out the bs of some of the tradespeople trying to sell me stuff. He was responsive and helpful, even though he didn't need to be. Turnaround time was also good. I hired them and they were out for the inspection within a couple of days. The report came same day. I'd recommend Patterson for your home inspection.

I received a very reasonable quote within an hour and when I called back to schedule an appointment, he answered the phone and scheduled the installation within a few days. The morning of appointment I received a text msg, indicating ETA for his arrival. He and his co-worker did a great job installing over 13" of insulation in our garage attic! He took before and after pictures of our attic. The inside temperature of our garage feels much better now. This is a small owner-operated business who knows how to take care of their customers. I highly recommend them!

A couple even came by to look at the job site and make recommendations about the type of installation they thought I needed. After talking to four or five firms, Milton from Izzy's insulation reached out to me and made the most practical recommendation based on my unique situation. We ended up going with a blown in fiberglass insulation of R 38 and 13 inches. His price was the best by a few bucks, but I particularly liked his practical recommendations, and so ended up using him. He booked me out a week later and showed up exactly on time and had the job done in just a couple hours. He even provided me with before and after pictures that I can use when I submit my taxes for an energy tax credit. Very straightforward and honest service I recommend if you're looking for installation to talk to him at least. As it ended up the insulation did basically nothing to help with the temperature in my garage. If others are looking to do the same thing, I tell you to look at a combination of insulation for your ceiling, walls if needed, and the inside of your garage door these metal garage doors really radiate a lot of heat into the garage.

They are heavy and the original guy cut corners and they started to pull away from the wall. I had called around a few carpenters to try to find a solution. Nolan not only had a fair price but also had the experience to recognize a suitable solution. Other's were over quoting what work needed to be done. Nolan and his brother stayed on the site for about 5 hours. During this time he actually decided to redo some work just to make sure it was 100% to his expectations. The backsplash that came with the vanity did not have a side piece, so he came up with using the tile from the shower floor, which really tied everything together. His entire crew from demo to finish were so helpful and answered all my questions. We keep pinching ourselves every time we walk in our bathroom to make sure it isn't a dream! We couldn't be happier!
