They say when you experience something unforgettable, you can't forget it. This was one of them but in the worst possible way. My girlfriend needed new wiper blades and since were in the area, we went in to check if they have in stock. We were greeted by this Vietnamese man that was happy help us. We came out and he took the blade to examine and find the matching one. He offered a few option that was the blade itself. However, I stated that I just wanted to replace the rubber itself. From then, he got more hostile towards us and starting throwing a man tantrum at us. He started stating how it would cost as much and we had to spend hours cutting to fit the wipes. Before coming, I already done it plenty of times before, so I know how it worked. I called my dad for some input and see if we could get the plastic blade at the dealer at this point. Being us being both Vietnamese, as I talked to my dad in Vietnamese, we started to speak in Vietnamese too, acting he some hotshot that knows everything. In the end, we just asked for our wiper blade back and left. If you can't let go if your own ego to serve customers and provide different insight without being hostile, customer interaction shouldn't be part of your job. I hope that he never works there again and as seen how much of this is a local staple store for auto parts, its a shame I can't support this place at the slightest. read more

First time here. I went in for some windshield wipers and was asked if I needed help within a minute of walking in. The associate asked what kind of car and then we went out to my car. He took off the old wipers and came back inside and got me some new ones. As I was paying he had another associate take over and went out and put on the new ones! I walked out and he was done. That is the best customer service I've had in a long time! I wasn't even sure that they would install the new ones when I went to this store. Usually would go here for convenient auto needs. Went in today and got the worst service with the rudest employee. Came in to get rubber blades for my car and the tatted up Vietnamese guy was full on horrible. We just wanted to know the price of the rubber for the windshield blade/windshield arm and dude just went out and started to touch my car like he's got a sale. When we said we wanted the rubber itself, he started to yell and make us feel stupid as if we do not know what we are doing. To the point he was red in the face. I'm pretty sure the bad reviews are also because of him. It's one thing to be good at your job but it's also another thing to be rude and disrespectful to customers. I've been coming here for years for wipers, bulbs, etc. Last week I went for both of my burnt out headlights and the worker who helped me (name was John on the receipt, had colorful arm tattoos) came outside and completely installed the new bulbs for me. I am not a car person by any means, so when I noticed my headlights weren't turning on, I low key freaked out cause I've had some uncomfortable situations at auto stores. I asked my brother for help and he referred me to Winchester Auto Parts cause "those guys know what they're talking about". He also suggested I take pictures to show them. I went in and showed Ismael the picture and what I was there for. He and John were really nice and professional. It was a quick trip. Then came time to replace the bulbs. I saw a video on YouTube that made it seem pretty easy, but I was still nervous. Jose came out and offered to help. He also shared his knowledge to not touch the bulb due to the oils on our hands and the temperature of the bulbs. Just left this place after receiving horrible customer service at Auto Zone on Cottle Rd. My parents have been coming here for years and I can't believe I didn't come here in the first place. The gentleman who helped me even came out with me to my car to figure out which can I needed for my AC. Recently, I was replacing the brakes on my vehicle and ran into a few problems. At one point I needed a part that the other auto parts stores told me I wouldn't be able to get and if I did the dealership was the only place I could get it. I called the dealerships and they were asking for anywhere from about $600 to $720 before taxes. I put off calling Winchester auto parts thinking that they'd only tell me what every other auto parts store had said. But I needed the part and couldn't afford to pay the ridiculous amounts that the dealerships were asking for so I had to try. I wish I would've called them first. I could've saved myself the stress and disappointment I was experiencing each time I had to deal with the response I was getting everywhere else. They got the part for me the next day and for $170. Winchester Auto came through with not only next day part delivery and the best price at well under 1/3 of the cost, but with knowledge, courtesy and professionalism. I was impressed with how knowledgeable they were and not one bad or uninterested attitude in any of the guys working there. They were friendly and personable. And honestly, I didn't get that complete package type feeling from any of the other auto parts stores employees. There were 1 or 2 that seemed to know what they were doing at those other stores, but almost as if they were just following a script and they, more often than not seemed to be void of any effort to really help. At Winchester they gave me all my best options. Even the options that didn't benefit their company financially. I never felt like I was just a part of a pay check. They actually were all about helping me get what I needed in the quickest amount of time and at the best price. For me, it's the only place I'm going to go when it comes to my vehicles. It's been awhile since I've had such outstanding customer service where the store manager, John, went far above and beyond my expectations. I came in for a quart of oil, (pricing was lower than Auto Zone & O' Reilly which is a plus). John was kind enough to offer his services in pouring the oil into my engine as well as taking the time to look over any details that needed to be done, (i.e. filter change, coolant, getting the engine detailed due to all the leaves and debris, etc). But what really set him apart from all others was his camaraderie with my kids which was absolutely admirable. He didn't have to give them a bag of gummy bears let alone engage in a conversation with them, but he did and did a wonderful job. Great customer service and phenomenal social skills! The guys here at winchester auto are knowledgeable and can answer pretty much any question you have about your car (that is questions that don't require them to have to inspect your car). Winchester Auto is just like any other auto parts shop. The only difference is the pricing is much more than other auto parts shops. I bought a catalytic converter from here, but I found it 80 dollars cheaper somewhere else. A great thing about WA is they do accept returns, so they get a pat on the back for that. Had a great first time experience at Winchester Auto. I'm completely clueless when it comes to automotive care, but the great customer service from Winchester Auto eased my worries. Don immediately stepped up to help me when I was observing and trying to compare different windshield wiper blades. He was able to identify the right blade length for my car model when I wasn't sure, and installed the front wipers for me no problem. What I appreciate the most about his service was his creative problem solving. After a broken rear windshield and an unfortunate drying incident at an automatic car wash, my former rear windshield wiper blade and wiper arm snapped off. Tragic. While Winchester Auto didn't have the wiper arm I needed, Don was quick to readjust the charges and recommended a water resistant spray to use in the meantime prior to purchasing the arm at an auto parts store or dealership. Not only did he recommend the water resistant spray, he also made a second trip outside to the parking lot with me to help thoroughly apply it to my rear windshield. The men here are exceptional. I was stuck at the Starbucks parking lot when I realized my key fob needed a new battery. I called the nearest auto supply store (Winchester Auto) near my home to ensure the battery I needed was there. To my luck, it was. Ismael assisted me over the phone. He was kind, patience, and took the effort to look for the battery to ensure that they had it in stock. When I arrived into the store, I was met by John who assisted me during my experience in the store. I told John that I needed a new battery for my key fob. He proceeded to ask me what kind of battery I needed. He then left to get me a pack of batteries. However, I wanted 2 (for my other key). Without attitude, John went to retrieve the other battery. When he came back with the second battery pack, I asked him if it was an easy process to insert the new battery into the key fob. John asked my permission to see my key in which he helped me solve the problem. During this, I was asking John questions (ie: How do I know when my battery is dying? What can I do to solve this?). John was super patience and understanding. He gave me very honest answers, and more importantly, I could tell that he CARED! In fact, he offered to help me fix my other key if I were to bring it in. I am overly impressed with the service I received from Winchester Auto and its staff! I would highly recommend this place to anyone. My family and I always go to Winchester Auto for anything car related. The location is super convenient for us, as it's just around the corner from our house. They also have amazing staff members. We're always greeted on our way in and asked if there's anything they can do for us. We've never had a single bad experience; in fact, we find that they go above and beyond. JOHN is the best! We just went in to buy a new headlight for my mom's 1999 ML320. While he looked up the bulb we needed replaced, my mom talked about how she had trouble removing the cover and existing headlight. John was quick to say that he'll take a look at it (even though they usually don't do that - they normally just replace your windshield wipers for you). He met us outside with the new bulb and, not only did he take a look, he replaced it for her! It was such a struggle... and he even hurt himself from having little space to work with... (so sorry!) My mom kept offering to try doing it herself since her hands are smaller, but he was determined to get the job done. We really, really appreciated his help! While checking out, we got to hold a nice conversation with him and the other workers there at the time. They're all so sincere and genuinely want to help you if they can.
