Baked Goods out of a dumpster…read more Not once but twice I have purchased their pre-made baked goods from their display in front of the counter and it was trash. Lucky for me the first time a diligent young checker spotted 3 of the 4 Blueberry muffins i purchased(i have severe visual impairment) were covered in mold. But this time it wasn't visual, the Banana Nut mini-muffins were stale as little rocks. To be fair the vendor makes decent baked goods. This is TOTALLY on Pepper's for not inspecting their displays. The display baked goods are overpriced and rarely fresh but they are adequate when not spoiled. I like their muffins but I will no longer be purchasing anything off their display ever again. Once is a mistake twice is a problem. Whoever runs the Bakery is not competent or too distracted and it hurts their customers. That is all.

I made the trip out to Apple Annie's from Phoenix with fall dreams in mind. The weather wasn't the…read morebest having been super rainy but I was still able to make the best I could out of the trip. Once you walk up there's a few different stands offering popcorn, coffee and apple cider donuts. There's a lot an outdoor produce area and indoor shop which sells tons of jams, spices and more. Of course the main attraction is the rows of apple orchards. I came on a Sunday which unfortunately seemed like all of the apples had already been picked so I didn't actually end up with any apples but I did enjoy the orchards for nice photos and that fall feeling. I also really enjoyed my apple cider donuts and coffee so still very worth it.

I finally made it to the Bisbee farmer's market. I parked on East Vista drive and walked my dog to…read morethe entrance. It's not a big market and my first impression was that there were a lot of dogs there. It was my first visit so I didn't know what to expect. I didn't see any plants for sale, but I saw local honey, Sonoran tortillas ($4/bag), soaps, breads and muffins, breakfast burritos, coffee vendors, used clothes, CBD oils and lots of artsy stuff. I ate a tasty bean and cheese burrito for $5. I found the prices very affordable. I paid cash but other vendors I spoke to take credit card. I like the location of this market. Plenty of parking around the market.

This farmers market has a little bit of everything .. lots of local farms, bakers, artists, soap…read moremakers, etc vendors. You will find breakfast burritos, tamales, homemade tortillas, coffee and lemonade on a hot summer morning. Local honey, plants, fruit & veggie farms, baked goods, eggs, local raised beef & bacon, homemade salsa, juice, handmade baskets, vintage clothing and LIVE music. On today's visit there was a lady selling aprons made from ties!! So cute!! And a family selling local honey & carne seca/ machaca (Yum!). It could be the warm summer morning but you could smell the mangos before you could see them. It's located under the shade trees at Vista Park, a 7min drive outside of Old Bisbee. Plenty of street parking, well behaved dogs allowed, most vendors accept Venmo and cash.

We go for the dates and sourdough bread. They generally set up on the North side of the farmers…read moremarket. The lady has fresh dates from Yuma grown by her daughter. The bread and pastry lady is from Elgin and makes the best sourdough bread we've ever tasted.
