The town of Windermere is an upscale enclave west of Orlando that has a great small-town feel despite being in a large metropolitan area. Despite the small-town feel, it has all of tge amenities close enough by. You have shopping, restaurants and easy access to major highways all close by, yet you are able to keep that small-town vibe. The downtown area is also worth mentioning as it just adds to the small-town feel Windermere is a very cool community. read more

Windermere hosts a farmer's market every Friday. It is just off of Main Street and clearly visible as soon as you hit downtown. On my last visit they seemed to have all of the pre-Covid venders selling flowers, produce, jewelry, essential oils, soaps, clothing, craftwork and more. After the Farmers Market you can cross the street for a coffee at Paloma Coffee or have breakfast at the Dixie Diner. read more
