They have not processed paperwork for three months so my mother only has 200 dollars to her name. Their incompetence is exhausting and inexcusable. We should not have to go over the same paperwork with you every month. It's simple paperwork the former owning company never had issues processing? So I'm not sure why they can't hire better, more educated employees. Three months. That's over 15,000 out of my mom's account and do they care? Not one bit. Frontier is a SHAM and this place continues to go downhill. They are not properly staffed because they cannot retain employees. That should tell you all you need to know. DO NOT PLACE ANYONE AT THIS FACILITY. It's truly horrible.

Lots of positive change was promised, as of yet we haven't seen an abundance of positive change. I've seen a few promises that have not been brought to fruition. The laundry facilities on our floor have been inoperable for nearly a month and a half. The floor above me is about the same. I understand everyone is flocking to use the few machines on the first floor. With my wheel chair, that's not possible. Laundry staff are absolutely overloaded. Care givers are willing to help, but due to lack of available machines, it has been a horrible situation. Management have been telling residents commercial machines have been ordered. It will be wonderful when they arrive and are installed. At the moment, we are stuck. I purchased more towels and clothing. Also had to buy larger laundry hampers to hold all the soiled clothing until I can wash it all. I had a Very bad experience with vaccinations. Their greeting on the answering machine states they are doing their part in helping to make sure we have access to vaccinations. They WILL NOT provide Covid vaccinations. Actually, after my doctor prescribed a few vaccinations, they made it very clear the nursing staff is not allowed to administer them. Very little contact exists between nursing staff and residents. And now they just informed they will be charging a fee to pay our rent. $50 a month if we do not give them access to our accounts. I have seen errors on my statements in which my account would be horribly withdrawn had they taken what the statement reflected. I am on social security and can't afford $50 a month. So I am forced to give them access to my account. Be wary if looking for a home here.

This place is a scam, and they actually helped me place my husband in an unsafe environment. The…read morerepresentative who "helped" me was out-of-state. She never even met or saw my husband. I was concerned that my husband needed an ICF (intermediate care facility). She assured me that he did not and she pushed me into placing him into a memory care center. Getting him into the facility and getting his room set up cost nearly ten thousand dollars. Within three days, the people at the memory care facility told me that my husband needed a higher level of care and that I needed to move him into an ICF. This was all so hard on him (as he has both MS and dementia). But they could not meet his medical needs. I called A Place for Mom again to ask for help in the next search . . . and my rep told me they couldn't help me search for an ICF because they wouldn't make any money. To get paid, they receive the resident's first month's worth of payment directly from the facility. They can only receive money from Assisted Living, Memory Care, or an Adult Family Home. So, she initially steered me away from his necessary level of care . . . for money. This service is predatory.

I told them that I was researching a solution for my father and that I needed to meet with my sister before a decision would be made. The salesman told me that if I signed that day, we would qualify for a discount. I told him I could not commit to a decision on that day, but he kept repeating the offer. You must sign up today to get this discount. I finally left after hearing the spiel repeated several more times. Then the telephone calls started. I talked to several people at APFM, and I told them to put me on the don't call list. Then the emails began. I've told them multiple times now to stop calling and emailing me, and to put me on the Do Not Call List, yet they continue. I "HATE A PLACE FOR MOM". These people are creeps, and they don't take no for an answer. It's been over a year, and I'm still getting emails from them. I don't trust them, and I want nothing to do with "A Place for Mom" spoke with several people at APFM and asked them to add me to the do-not-call. Avoid "A Place for Mom"
