I call in am tell them they can key in while I am work and problem is fixed when I arrive home. The neighborhood is quiet and management does not put up with any noise or partying. The manager Anna is lovely and always helpful. I have never seen a bug in this place other than ants outside on patio which they spayed for same day. Not even many spiders. The hallway and air freshener is a bit of an issue... But it does NOT smell like urine.. It is a closed entrance hallway so now and then their are cooking smells. The common areas are cleaned thoroughly each week as I have seen them vacuum. I think 1 star review was an angry tenant. There are some issues due to age of building.. The rent is creeping up year to year but I have been a renter for 15 years and this is my favorite apartment.. Large for cost of rent and area is safe and like living in country with all the convenience of city. Would have given a 5 but would like to see some updates if rent is going to go up higher. Decks would look cooler painted for instance.

I had a recent change in my job and need to relocate to be closer. I really debated sucking up the 1.5 hour commute because I am so happy here. What's to love: a garage space included in the rent, lots and lots and lots of storage, generally a very quiet place, the management is so responsive to requests, great outdoor pool and a super convenient location. I can get to downtown Minneapolis in 15 minutes, downtown St. Paul in 20 minutes, 694 in 2 minutes.... The property is owned by Mateer Properties. They own three or so other apartment complexes in the area. I highly recommend them and highly recommend this property. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to live here and hope the next tenants have as good of an experience as I have had.

Now let's get to the topic of how often the Roseville police are here. From fights in the parking lot, loud parties and people who don't even live here sleeping in the common spaces or the bathroom they are here at minimum once a week. I will say that I do like my unit but living here and paying $1700 a month to put up with all the chaos is not worth it. The building is old and rather run down. And I'm not meaning in a "cool" way, I mean in a there's a lack of meaningful maintenance or cleaning going on here and there's a lot of "questionable" people who live here. More often than not when walking through the halls you could smell smoke, even though it was a smoke free building, either tobacco or pot. And there were always stains on the carpet in the uneven hallways. The laundry rooms are a nightmare - small for the amount of people who use them and pretty much a hot-box in the summer since they overlook the indoor pools. So your clothes pretty much felt dirty as soon as you took them out of the dryer again. The walls are super thin. I learned things about my neighbor man that I didn't want to know while I was trying to fall asleep every night, which is prime time for creepy divorced men to call into lava links and tell people his wife died and that he likes kinky sex. I had nightmare people. It's also sort of a party-place. There are lot of young people living here and so there are lot of parties and late nights being had around the place, and it's not just happening on the weekends. We had a a place below us that would party to the wee-hours of the morning (literally, sunrise) on Thursdays. I will say it's sorta nice that it is so close to two gas stations and 35W. But other than that, it's just sort of sad.

Fitness room overtaken by children. Outdated furnishings. Walls so poorly insulated can hear neighbors conversations, music preferences, and every step the residents above make. Your patio/deck area is shared very closely with neighbors (in accordance to your walls!) so don't plan on having friends over late unless you want a visit from the police. Management does little to resolve or prevent this albeit it's not entirely their fault since this building is so poorly built. Dealt with silver fish since move in 6 months ago (Plunkets here 3-4 times already). Laundry requires me to pass through 5 doors total and go up a flight of stairs; washer machines are half the size of a standard; driers only work on the highest heat level & still require a second round at times (1 standard size hamper = $4-$6). I think this would be very useful if you are planning on moving in during the winter. From the service drive, you have easy access to the parking lot and the elevators which go to the apartments. The gym here is awesome. The treadmills sync to your apple watch so it can give you accurate workout results. They have enough cable machines to keep anyone happy. Downside is that the dumbells only go up to 50lbs and the bench is a smith machine. Otherwise can't complain about the gym. The gym is open 24/7 I believe... The pool and lounge areas are pretty nice. There are 4 to 6 grills (didn't look too closely) so there is plenty of grilling space to go around. The people here are all pretty nice and haven't seen anyone causing trouble yet. The main lounge area/pool deck at the center of the apartment is shut down at 10pm so there isn't any issues with noise. All in all, no complaints so far. The apartment is beautiful and you get a lot for how much you are spending. Hopefully will write an update review in 6 months to a year.

The building is maintained as well as a hotel. The community rooms/amenities are spotless, the hallways are pristine and smell nice, and even the parking ramp is well-maintained. Maintenance issues, no matter how complex, are dealt with in the matter of several days, tops. The security guards manning the desk in the East building are courteous, professional, and will help you out to the best of their abilities. Another reviewer complained about not having been given access to an amenity at 11:45. Most everything stays open at night, and if it closes, it's because there's a liability present with personal safety or excessive noise (drunk people in the pool, perhaps?). There isn't a single property in the city that doesn't have set hours on the availability of certain amenities. Mill & Main has generous parking spots, a free car wash, and free underground guest parking. My friends all love coming to hang out at my apartment, because the building removes so many pain points from a typical 3rd-party visit. Bravo, Mill & Main. Keep up the good work.

Office appeared to have teenagers or babysitter type of girls working there which didn't know anything and always had to setup an appt to talk to their boss. The apt units have gaps under the front door and are very noisy with kids of every age running through the halls like its an indoor gym. Noisy creaky floors let you hear exactly where the neighbor above is at any given time. The walls have no insulation in them and were cheaply constructed with minimal screws and bad taping of the joints in some places. The kitchen was run down with outdated cabinets, counters, sink and appliances,we complained and they replaced the stove but took the garbage disposal out according to some law that went into affect prior. The chemicals on the lawn made us move because we got headaches during spray days and it would vent in from the AC or window leaks or sometimes accidently had window open during lawncare days. After moving we had no more headaches or dry skin problems. If you like heat and you like noise this place is for you.
