About 18 years ago I was introduced to Scotch and Bourbon. Ever since then I have been on a mission to find the best selection near me. That is a tough one. Every store has a vast selection that seems to be geared towards the area population. Recently I was on the hunt for 2 specific bottles, Old Fitzgerald 7 year BIB and Ben Holiday BIB. Since I was going to ShopRite for some fill in shopping I decided to stop in. To my surprise they had both. The store is well laid out great lighting and a staff ready to help. As for pricing, they are very competitive. While there I noticed the selection of rare and or hard to find bottles and they were not kept under lock and key also priced competitively. A huge place in New Rochelle that has a massive selection of booze with wine being the main event . Came on a Saturday to pick up a variety of wines for an upcoming event and I got lost roaming around surrounded by the many variety of booze . Kind friendly employee recommended white and red wines that would be perfect and prices are more then reasonable. Definitely my favorite liquor store in the area. They have a HUGE collection of wines and spirits. Whatever you are looking for you will more than likely find here. The staff is pretty nice and knowledgeable. They also have tastings and samples which makes for an all around pleasant shopping experience. As far as pricing goes, I think their prices are pretty good. Of course if you are looking for better deals it is up to you to do the research and search for sales but if you what a liquor store with reliable stock and prices, this is it. You can also sign up for their frequent shopper club to get points on every purchase that add up to a dollar amount discount in the future. read more

This is a fairly large and very good "salt of the earth" kind of place that offers that essential combo of great selection, very good prices (as far as we can tell), and friendly customer service, without extra "frou-frou" frills (you can't drink decor so why pay for it?). They have a fairly extensive selection of both high end and basic wines (we didn't look at their hard alcohol selection and not even sure if they carry beer - we just went in there to buy wine for a party). They offer discounts if you buy multiple bottles (3, 6, or 10 usually) as long as you pay with cash or debit. They also have some sort of "frequent buyer" program where you get points for purchases that can be used for future discounts. Some of the staff were a bit inattentive but they were probably doing other tasks like stocking and weren't expecting to be pulled aside for questions. We did find a super helpful and very down to earth woman who was awesome. We don't live in the area but when we visit, we'd have no hesitation shopping there again. read more

They also have a rewards card so you can get money off of your bill. I recently had an experience here where I cut my finger on a bottle that had glass shards on it from another broken bottle. The manager was quick to get me a bandaid and even gave me a discount on my bottles. Very satisfied with this store. My only complaint is the parking lot is often quite busy, but that is not the stores fault. read more

This store is located next to Shop-Rite, near the NISSAN dealership on Palmer Ave. The prices are terrific. The staff is friendly and well-informed. There is a very wide selection of libations that virtually no one person could command, so if one person doesn't have the answer to a question, they've always sought out the person with the answer. Heading out to a dinner party? Chill your wine in minutes while you shop. Every weekend there are samples and on any day, there are items on the shelves with information about asking for a sample at the counter. Just ask at the counter and the friendly cashier will pour you a sample. This place is designed to create repeat business. It's a feel-good experience. When you're there get one of the loyalty cards that now reward you with a $4 discount for every $100 spent. read more

This place has a large selection, as expected because it is a fairly large wine & spirits warehouse. But the problem with this place is that they are quite expensive. They market their business as a "discount" warehouse, but it is hardly that. How is a 375ml bottle of Bulleit Bourbon $28??? It's $23 anywhere in NYC. Where's the discount? Additonally, Westchester retailers purchase from distributors at lower prices vs their NYC counterparts. These guys only appear to be discount but they are hardly that. Don't be fooled by the warehouse look and the seemingly discount prices. read more

The store refuses to give price information over the phone. I asked for the manager, and was transferred to a man (with a thick accent) who claimed to be the owner. His argument was that, "If you're serious about buying, you'll come into the store." Further, he was patronizing, and spoke to me as if I was a child asking my mother why I couldn't have another cookie. No, that is simply not the case for those of us who are busy and aren't going to drive ten miles out of our way unless we know we're getting a better deal (on a case of wine) than somewhere more local. I used to like this store, but I am now avoiding it at all costs, even if I have to pay more elsewhere. I don't need to patronize a business owned and run by obnoxious foreigners with stupid rules. read more

I always stop here when I'm in the neighborhood. They carry my wine which is sometimes hard to find and get it for less price. The staff is great and very helpfull they have wine tasting on the weekends, so many different tastings by the time I'm done I already have a slight buzz lol. Well worth the trip over the bridge but just as easy order online and have it shipped. Prices are very good and they are the only store to stock wines that I can only get at restaurants -- like the pinot grigio I drink in Astoria and the unoaked Chardonnay I have in NJ. Buyers beware! Do not bring any business here! Despite their store name, the prices are fairly expensive compared to anywhere in the US. However recently, I happened to find a Burgundy village which priced competitively on their website getwineonline.com. I placed an order of one case and these crooks simply went 'No, we never received your order'. I showed them the confirmation email but they just kept on saying no order is received. Best customer service I have seen past 20 years. Very professional that this place deserves a zero star. Sucks that yelp won't allow me to leave a review without giving any. read more

When I called the "customer care" which is anything but, I was told she did not have control over what was shipped out and with the holidays they could not send an email to everyone that they did not have wine for. Great customer service. I ordered wine from here for my wedding. There was a slight mixup on the order, but I ended up speaking to Leo personally -- he called to reach out to correct it -- and he not only apologized, but offered to drive a replacement to me personally in time. When he realized I was across the country and too far away, he refunded the order completely. He was concerned about my happiness and satisfaction and went out of his way to make things right. Things go wrong occasionally and the mark of a good company is how they respond. Leo responded here like a pro. And earned my respect and will earn my repeat business. Ordered a case of wine which showed available on the website, unfortunately inventory was inaccurate so they were only able to send 5 bottles. When I received the wine it was the wineries second bottle, which retails for a much lower price. I called and they said the distributor sent them the incorrect bottles and had not noticed. Now i have to deal with printing off a return receipt and scheduling a Fed Ex pick-up. Terrible user experience form beginning to end and a big disappointment. Only redeeming quality was they will refund for their mistake but many people not familiar with the wineries two wines may not have noticed as the only difference is the word "Tour" on the label. read more
