My husband went to make a purchase and since I was looking around he wasn't allowed to buy anything. I had my gym bag because I went to the gym so I didn't have an id. I wasn't planning on buying anything but my husband wanted to stop for something for the night on the way home. Since I didn't have my id the employee Brock kicked us out and wouldn't let my husband make a purchase saying "Well there's a sign on the door so..." The sign only says if you are buying something that you need ID, there's nothing about having ID to enter. read more

Established in 1933.

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) regulates the distribution of beverage alcohol in Pennsylvania, operates more than 600 Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores statewide, and licenses 20,000 alcohol producers, retailers, and handlers. The agency was created by state law on Nov. 29, 1933, at the end of Prohibition. Pennsylvania is one of 17 states and two Maryland counties in the U.S. that controls the sale of alcohol. The agency is governed by a three-person Board whose members are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by two-thirds of the state Senate. In addition, the PLCB also works to reduce and prevent dangerous and underage drinking through partnerships with schools, community groups, and licensees. Taxes and store profits - totaling more than $15 billion since the agency's inception - are returned to Pennsylvania's General Fund, which finances Pennsylvania's schools, health and human services programs, and law enforcement, among other important public services.
