They were also very nice and lenient to deadlines and workloads which was really helpful when doing a virtual placement :)

When I later tried to book classes, there was no availability. Only then did I discover that the Birchmount location had closed. I never received any email notifying me of the closure. Had I known the location was closing, I would not have purchased the passes. When I contacted the studio, instead of working toward a reasonable resolution, I was told they had a record of an email being sent and was offered classes at another location that is significantly less convenient for my family. A refund was refused. As a parent, communication and customer service are important. I understand that businesses sometimes close locations, but customers who have recently purchased passes should be clearly informed before or at the time of purchase. Unfortunately, I left feeling that my concerns were dismissed rather than addressed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this studio.

It was not hard punching, it seems like some "martial art" quick poking / punching , but definitely not "beating up" your son. " They knew about this but left my 6 year old to explain the incident to me. When I asked them how they could let this happen, the owner asked me to keep an open mind, and if I wanted a discount on future classes. Unbelievable. DO NOT send your children here.

It was the perfect event for a group of colleagues. The space is quite large, and everyone had their own easel and workspace. Individual artistic expression was encouraged, but pointers were provided to help us along. Besides the weekly camp, they also have daily rate options. They also offer early drop off and late pick up for additional price. My daughter turned 5 during the week attending class. The reception/teachers were so kind to buy her cupcakes to celebrate. The teachers also asked her friends to make her a wonderful birthday card. Besides art supplies, they also have a good selection of books for the kids. My daughter loves to read. She would read after class while waiting for us to pick her up. They also have outdoor playtime and yoga time offered for the kids to move around. The teachers and the receptionist were very warm and very attentive. My daughter had a wonderful time there and looks forward to go to class everyday. She is already asking us to to bring her back next summer. She can't wait to go back.

They really care about your progress and teach you various art skills (how to sketch, brainstorm ideas, perspective, painting, charcoal, pastel, etc) They've helped me create an art portfolio to get into a performing arts high school and even an architecture portfolio for university (I got accepted at both). Students at the art school range from kids in kindergarten, to high school students, and a few university students. Everyone here is very nice and friendly , so don't worry about making friends. They are very amazing and skilled teachers, and if you truly want to learn how to create art, I highly recommend coming here.
