I went in and ordered food and the wait was ridiculous. I wouldn't have minded if the food was good, but it wasn't. I ordered a veggie sandwich and it lacked key parts of the sandwich including cheese and sauce, and things were added that should not have been in the sandwich. Additionally, the produce used was not very fresh. I definitely wouldn't recommend this places for sandwiches but hopefully people have better luck with their other items. read more

We were staying at the Omni and wanted to get delivery after our long drive in. Eat 24 estimated a 60 minute wait but our food was here in 30. I ordered a burger and fries with cheese and my husband had a turkey burger and fries with cheese. A small order of fries was bigger than expected- we definitely could have just shared one order. The delivery man called as soon as he was in the lobby and he was very friendly. The burgers were large and had ample toppings and the fries were still crisp. The only thing I would change is I would order medium next time rather than medium well - which is the automatic setting on the app... It's my own fault for not paying attention and the burger was cooked just the way I ordered it- just not the way I prefer. If you're looking for a quick dinner in DC I would definitely recommend having Wingo's deliver. read more

Thank you wingos for being the only consistent delivery spot in DC. Wings are always good and delivery is always quick. Everything is packaged with care and special orders are accommodated. I usually go garlic parm wings with fries (medium size is plenty for 3-4 people) but the burgers are good too. One suggestion would be to upgrade the blue cheese to something in house or maybe a different brand, kens just isn't my favorite. Have you guys ever considered branching out into pizza? DC is sorely lacking in decent NY style delivery and I'm sure if Wingos applied the same attention to detail to pizza they do their wings it would be success. This is an incredible operation. Freshly fried wings delivered within 1/2 hour with a deep range of sauce flavors and hotness. What I love most is the spice variety of traditional buffalo style sauces from mild to super duper spicy. That said the menu format & sauce names make it sort of tough to identify the order sauce hotness. Is "nuclear" hotter than "abusive" but more mild than "spicy in /spicy out". I know from experience the answer and I encourage you to experiment with caution. Unlike any other place I've experienced your sauce application options here are huge allowing you to choose from a range between "wet" & "dry" wings. I have started to order my sauce on the side because I find it keeps the wings crispier during delivery. read more

From out of town. Yelp helped us find this gem. Had it delivered- teriyaki wings, mild wings and mozzarella sticks. Delivery was fast. Teriyaki wings were EXCELLENT - so TASTY!! so i'm here in georgetown on vacation and wanted to get something delivered to my hotel room as i'm very tired of walking around in the cold pushing my daughter in a stroller. i ordered from wingos online because of the reviews here on yelp and i am nothing but pleased!!! their website is so easy to use and order from! there's so much to pick! i ordered some wings buck naked with salt and pepper, both seasoned and regular fries, boneless wings, and a funnel cake with powdered sugar and strawberry on the side. from the other reviews i was expecting my food to come in 30-45 mins but i ordered it at 815 and knock knock knock, here comes the wingos delivery guy at 830!!!! how awesome is that!!!!! not only did we get fast food, but we got good fast food! my husband enjoyed his wings, and i loved my boneless wings!!! the fries were fries...the funnel cake was delish!!!! my husband doesn't like spicy anything so the honey bbq was perfect for him!!! wingos is definitely not helping me with my new years resolution and i love it! hahahaha! oh yah, when you order on their website, it calculates the delivery tips like 10, 15, 20 % or however much you want to give, and it adds it on so you get your total right there! read more

If you want to pay double for a re-homed can of Campbells Chunky Chicken noodle soup, this is the place for you. I suggest going to the 7/11 across the street and just getting the exact same soup there for half the price.... They aren't even trying to dress it up, unless you count throwing in some crackers. I would recognize this soup anywhere. I also ordered the "Italian Stallion" which is supposed to be a chicken parm sub.... In reality its two pieces of cold, untoasted bread, cold breaded chicken cutlet, cold sauce, and literal slices of cheese. If you're under the impression that a chicken parm sub should be served hot, you're in for a bit of a surprise. For these prices, I dared to ask if they could please toast the sub and at least give it some semblance of warmth, instead they threw it into a microwave until it was a steaming, soggy mess. I would not suggest this place if you have any interest in well prepared food. But there is a cat cafe down the street, so the day wasn't a total loss. read more

This is our go-to place for wings in DC. The wings are consistently good and in my very humble opinion the best in terms of delivery I've had while living here. Management is extremely friendly and responsive, which sadly isn't the case for all eateries in DC. Visiting DC for a week and I love wings - I was impressed by the options. Online ordering system is accurate, easy, and up to date. Impressed with this business right when I walked in - they thanked me for being a customer and making the trip there even though it is very cold today. He reminded me of the 10% discount for Yelp check-in and an additional 10% match they do. Ordered 20 crispy (twice fried) wings (1/2 medium, 1/2 Garlic Parmesan). I've decided that I'm not a fan of Garlic Parmesan wings, but I'm sure they are very good for that flavor because I didn't really mind these. I expected a little more spice to the medium wings, but they were delicious. Also ordered mozarella sticks, which were well cooked with good flavor. Lastly, I ordered some fried sweet dough with honey for dessert - these were soft but overcooked, and that came through in the taste. I am reviewing this after the food cooled down for 30+ minutes while traveling back to Metro Center. Still good, even after cooling down. Overall, I will return here when I visit DC. The food arrived luke warm at best. We were missing an order of fries, had the wrong seasoning on one order of fries, the brisket sandwich was pure gristle, and the wings were completely burnt and thus inedible. The mozzarella sticks were not warm at all, which wasn't a surprise because Wingo's did not do anything to insulate them. They were just in a plastic container. We made a complaint and got a fresh order (of larger) fries and a free muffin, but that didn't do anything about how the two meals (the sandwich & wing) were not edible. I would not go back or recommend their food to anyone. The only good thing in the order was the shake (rocky road). read more

Wingos gets a gold star for delivery and the fried dough desserts (I believe they have two different ones) are great, albeit artery-clogging. However, the wings are just average to blah. I have had much better wings at many area bars including the Tombs (and no I didn't just like them there cuz I was drunk, I ate some sober too, I swear). The wings are even better at el cheapo storefront wing joint near my family home in a rather rundown part of Maryland. Wingos wings were seasoned hot (temperature wise they were kind of medium cool). "Hot" is about the only flavor overtone I got from them. Also If you want blue cheese dressing on your wings you have to squirt it on from packets rather than getting a container of it that you can dip wings into like a normal person. Ripping open a packet of dressing with wing grease on my hands requires a level of dexterity I do not easily command. I think I will just try another place next time I feel a need for wingage. Though I still might call up Wingos for some fried dough. Maybe they should change their schtick to Doughos. read more
