It's been my experience that Mexico is typically behind the U.S. about 2-3 years in technology and food tastes. Wings are a big foodie thing right now Mexico and there is not a Buffalo Wild Wings or Hooters in sight. Not sure why but the next biggest thing is Wings Army. The servers are supposedly be dressed in army fatigues accordingly to the website. That was not our experience. The servers of which some were dressed in fatigues and others were black pants and untucked shirts. So enough about the dress, I was looking forward to some wings after a week of Tacos, Chiles, and Mole. There are combo packs and there are options to order sandwiches and burgers. I went with the wings. They seems to have the same sauces as BBW but it's the execution of the wings where the difference is. BBW as well as my homemade wings are baked, fried and then stored in a stainless steel bowl. Then the sauce is poured on the wings and the bowl is spun to coat the wings. These fried wings are more like being dipped in the sauce. The cause and effect is that the favor profile is like typical fast food but the price is for sit down. On a positive note there are all sorts of beer, domestic and imported well if you call corona domestic and bud light imported. Anyways, if you travel to Mexico, you'll see any number of wing places. The wisdom here is to have low expectations otherwise when in Mexico eat Mexican food. read more
