I go here with my family quite often when I visit. However, I have my personal qualms with Wings Etc. I normally would buy the bone-in wings with wimpy sauce but, recently switched to their boneless wings. The reason being, the past few times I've ordered them, my wings came overcooked and drenched in greasy buffalo sauce. I now order the bbq boneless wings which, are still drenched in sauce but, I like their sauce. I'm crazy about their fries with nacho cheese as well, and can eat an entire basket of them. On occasion, I've tried a grilled chicken salad that was ok but, their French dressing is a little thin and boring. I've also ordered their chicken nacho platter which seemed huge. However, they don't add enough toppings to balance out the tortilla chip ratio underneath. They only put it on top and then, you're stuck with all these plain chips, instead of layering it. Service is always fairly decent, and prompt. One of the best little wing spots in this area. read more

Like previous review, this is a great addition to Antioch. I love buffalo wings, but I only visit here when I don't feel like going to BWW. I had a bad experience eating in and so now I normally pick up and eat at home. I always make sure that my order is correct before exiting. read more

Been 5 times over last year Clean, local high school sports memorabilia. Service is not bad. Glorified chain resturant focused on wings. My dream. Except the wings actually suck. It feels like twilight zone to be so focused on wings and be so bad at them. I have had the burger and pork tenderloin both are alright. Nothing to write home about. But those wings, ugggg. We had Wings Etc. Boneless wings for appetizers at our wedding. I didn't even get any because they disappeared so fast! We always love coming here for a great meal. Our favorite is the pulled pork nachos. Their burgers are pretty awesome too. I love that they have Angry Orchard on tap and my husband always finds a new favorite beer. read more

They recently had a change in ownership and let me tell ya its still the same great food and friendly staff. While their wings are hands down my favorite, I have always enjoyed the other menu items I've tied. Chicken Quesadillas are amazing and you cant go wrong with their burgers. I always had issues with the Grayslake location, so I decided to try Antioch to see if it was any better. The difference was staggering, this location is 1000 times better than Grayslake! Staff is friendly and attentive, and if there's a problem with your order (which rarely happens) they fix it right away. read more

Our family has been going to wings etc weekly since they opened. The food is wonderful! My husband and kids love the burgers and wings I am dieting so often limited when I go out. I found the wraps to be amazing with a side of veggies!! The owners do not just make an occasional appearance they are there every time we go in stopping by every table to make sure everything is going ok. I really like that kind of service. One of my most touching moments was on my daughters 21st birthday she chose to go to wings. She's battling a terrible illness so unable to have an alcoholic drink. The owners came out with a birthday treat and a non alcoholic fruity drink and they sang happy birthday with us. The owners Dan and Nancy are wonderful people and have put their heart into their business. Our weekly visit to Wings Etc is something we look forward to:) read more

After a couple of years of having wings and an occasional "Home Wrecker" I tried a burger. First you can tell, without question, it has never been frozen. It was juicy without being messy and the flavor was undeniable. With a cold beer it could not be much better. My family and I love this place and have been coming for years! There used to be a location in Grayslake but since there isn't anymore I will admit we will travel all the way to Antioch for some good wings. I will continue to come here, but there is one server I will plan on avoiding at all cost. When we arrived yesterday, we sat at a table no problem, but the server didnt come over for about 10--15 minutes in, and another one had to take our drink order even though it wasn't her table. She was very frantic even though it wasn't that busy, and we didnt receive our food for at least 35-40 minutes after we ordered (I know it does not take that long, I have come here multiple times and gotten my food a lot quicker than that). Also she did not drop off our food another different server did, and then once she saw we finally got our food she came over and said "Oh I was looking for that, how is it?". She refilled our drinks quickly which was nice, but I would say that was a small highlight. After we finished, I had asked her to split our check and for a box, she brought us our box and did not split the check so I asked her again and it was not a big deal. Once we were finished, i'm sorry to say it, we decided to not leave her a very good tip because honestly i've had much better service at this location. When we were leaving she took our checks extremely early and looked at them and proceeded to give me a dirty look which is extremely inappropriate. I then forgot my keys on the table, was walking back and she proceeded to stare at me almost as if she was trying to turn me to stone. I know what a good tip is and what a good server is like, my boyfriend works in the field and trust me the minute someone gives him an unreasonable tip I'm the first to hear about it and call it unjustified. This woman clearly did not deserve a good tip and me and my cousin both agreed on that. This will not deter me from always coming to Wings Etc. for good wings, but I will definitely make sure not to have this server again. read more

We stopped at Wings on a Saturday night and we're amazed at the amount of people inside. The reason for the stop was to give this place one more try before writing it off. The surprise was on us. Love this place! Food is great and the waitstaff is awesome! Friendly and fun place to grab a bite, relax and watch a game with friends.

Overall, I would recommend this place to huge sports fans who don't care too much about paying a bit more for the food to be able to enjoy a bunch of big screen sports coverage. That said, i want impressed at the $10 burger which I was served, the peppers and bacon didn't even make it onto the burger, they were sitting in the basket off to the side, fries didn't taste fresh and the wings we ordered didn't come out until the same time as our meals which made it much less enjoyable and too much food all at the same time. One other minor error was that they switched up my husband's medium burger with my well done burger... That wasn't a big deal since we could just swap them, but I just didn't feel like paying $30 for 2 burgers and 7 wings (no drinks) was with the money here. Sometimes the incredible service makes up for it, but service was average and maybe even a little overwhelmed. Just my two cents.. Maybe try for yourself...especially if you're looking for a sports oriented place, it does have a sporty feel and lots of big screen TV action :) read more

Ordered takeout wings a few weeks back and while the service and atmosphere of the place seemed great, the food was below average and we were very disappointed. We were very excited to try Antioch's new wing restaurant, but they take the "drown the wings in sauce" approach. The flavors of the sauces are not shaken into the wings, but simply poured over the top. Wings are not a spaghetti serving. Additionally, we ordered a few different sauces and they were quite bad tasting. We are big fans of wings. I would rate these far below places like BW3, Hooters, Tilted Kilt and Wingstop to reference some of the known varieties. Save your money and drive to Kenosha or Gurnee for some better tasting wings. Unless we found out we had a bad batch, I would not go again for their wings. Their other menu items I cannot comment about. read more

Only been here twice but both times were not very pleasant experiences. First time I went, my bone in traditional wings were dry and overcooked, sitting in oil. I ordered medium sauce on my wings and I'm pretty sure they gave me mild sauce because it was sitting in their "butter base sauce" which is just grease. The second time I went for lunch the waitress was very friendly and took the time to talk to us and check up on us several times. But once again, the food was terrible for both me and my guest. We both ordered a chicken sandwich and our waitress brought them out knowing they were made wrong, or at least one was made wrong. So whatever, we ate them anyway and it was a big mistake. What kind of restaurant puts mayo, ketchup, mustard AND pickles on a chicken sandwich?? On top of that no where in the menu did it mention those toppings. And she failed to tell us or ask us if we wanted that on our sandwiches. Poor knowledge of the menu by both kitchen and server. Then she gave us the run around and told us that's how corporate wants the sandwiches made...? But overall good atmosphere, lots of tv's and decent service. I went here for the first time at 2:30 on last Saturday. I didn't read about it on Yelp before hand, so I was surprised to see some mixed reviews here today. I must say that I had a great experience. First of all the place was clean. All be it, it was pretty empty because of the time. We ordered more food then we could eat. Let's start with the most important one... the wings! We ordered the hottest sauce they had and BBQ which is the sweetest/mild. I love hot, spicy food and their Habanero sauce nearly kicked my @$$, but it was good. The BBQ was also really good. It was sweet and had a little tang. The best part were the wings themselves. Unlike my recent experiences at BWW, these wings were all relatively good in size, moist and cooked to perfection. I also ordered a burger because I can't resist a burger that is created from freshly ground beef. The burger was really good for this type of place. It was a good size, juicy and cooked to order. The toppings were fresh. My friend ordered the fish sandwhich. It was huge but she said it too tasted great. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive too. Plus there were TVs everywhere so I'm thinking this is not a bad place to watch some games. So I know there are some claims about not having a good experience at Wings Etc, but our experience there was great. I'll definitely give this place another shot and if I have to choose Wings Etc over BWW, it's Wings Etc hands down. read more

My husband and children are the wing fans and they can't get enough. Me? I think their burgers are amazing. Their appetizers (fried pickles, pretzels with beer cheese) are top notch. Their wait staff are impressive. Great for kids, because yes...it's noisy...every single time I have been here. I've been here twice with my family to eat and I have to say, Not impressed. I really like the Atmosphere, Service was good, table was dirty (like a previous commenter mentioned, appeared to use old dirty rag from the sink). I ordered the boneless wings and as presentation goes, I give it an F. When the wings came out, they where in the basket and it appeared that the cook just scooped a laddle of sauce and just plopped it on top of them. It looked pretty disguisting. Have to say the food here has always been spot on! A good friend and I have come to love the food, and we are both pretty picky. Cheese curds are the best I have had, and the chicken tenders as well as the wraps and wings are delicious! Drinks are always great and awesome prices. We saw margarita specials on Tuesdays....our server notified us that that was no longer correct, yet checked with the manager because she still wanted to honor it. Manager okay'ed it and apologized. We now go once a week for food and great margaritas! I believe our server's name was Shannen. Excellent, spot on service. Loved this place! Took my family there last week for the first time and was impressed. The wings are big and meaty and their sauces are very good, much better than BW3, imo. The pretzel bites were also awesome. On top of that, the service was great. A floor manager stopped by to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and then later on the owner, Dan, came by and introduced himself. He even gave my daughters some extra money for the crane games. The wings are great, especially since they let you mix them up in a single order. We ordered our drinks and for some reason the waitress expected us to know what we wanted to order before we even looked at the menu. We asked for some time and she got kinda huffy. The place was not busy. When we got our food it was a bit hard to pin her down for another drink. I think they need better training for their staff. read more

After trying the grayslake location a few times and found they were disgusting, I was hesitant to try this location but my cousin insisted. It was fine, I wouldn't be back if I was paying lol. My daughter ordered buffalo chicken tacos that were really good but came with store bought salsa. My cousin ordered wings and said their honey mustard sauce is weird and didn't eat them. I had boneless medium wings and the sauce was really good. We got onion rings and were surprised that no sauce come with them like at BDUBS. We ordered a side of southwest ranch to be told we would be charged for it (okay) and we were brought some horrible horseradish concoction that we didn't finish. We ordered Scooby snacks drinks and I sent mine back, my cousin sipped on hers and wasted an entire amaretto stone sour because it was gross and she is too nice to send stuff back. Had to ask for soda refills. It was confusing on who was actually our waitress as 3 different woman came to the table at different times. Not worth $60 for 3 people. Menus were sticky. read more
