We haven't gone to a Wingstop in a long time and decided to try it again. This place doesn't dine in, just take out, which was fine for us. We got the special for the boneless wings and chose Lemon Pepper and Parmesan flavors. It was disappointing. The wings were way too salty and the lemon pepper was overly citrusy, it just didn't taste balanced. There was also too much breading, which made it feel heavy. I love wing stop but this particular location is not my favorite. I never dine in since it's always dirty with no clean tables. I always check my order before I leave since often times my order is completely wrong. The wings are usually soaked in grease in my to go container so once I'm home I have to drain the extra grease. I always have a hard time getting through when placing a phone order, so usually I just give up and either place it online or order once I am there. They do have a private parking lot with plenty of parking spaces. This location is convenient since it's located near CSUN and I am always in the area for different reasons. However the wing stop on Woodley is a better option. read more

Yeah, no thank you. For some reason every time I come here, there is a bucket in the middle of the floor because of a leak. The place always smells rancid like a sewer. On the off chance I'm craving some wings on a long night, the best option in my head is always to choose Wingstop with its convenience. However, somehow.. My excitement for wings and the craving for wings gets underwhelmed as I eat wings from here. Not only are they always extremely greasy/oily that they soak through the paper bags (which thankfully their styrofoam boxes have finally been switched to the more hard plastic boxes), but the flavor is always .. tame. For not just the mild and medium flavors, but even the parmesan garlic.. like how do I explain it? The flavors were there but it feels watered down with oiliness. The wing quality is also always decent, but recently I had a very horribly shaped wing that I cant believe was still thrown into my order. I took pics of it but it was so hard and it was small and clinging on the bones. I didn't even want to eat it. Bummed that wing was part of my wings order that I picked "per the piece." Please tell me if this is normal size boneless wings!! I ordered 8 pieces with Cajun fries, but I received 10 pieces instead. However, the size of the wings was wayy smaller than expected. My friend ordered the same order as mine in a different flavor, and his wings were twice the size of mine. The wings also had more batter than chicken. The taste was good, but it felt like I got popcorn chicken instead of wings. When it is time for wings, I always like the "bone in", it has more flavor and you know you have the real thing. However, rarely I do go for boneless and did this time because there was a deal. You get 20 boneless, 4 flavors, 2 dips and a large seasoned fries for $16.99. For flavors, I chose Atomic (the hottest), Spicy Korean, Mild and the Louisiana dry rub. I have to say the wings were not bad, much better than I expected. There is another reason I try to stay away from the boneless wing. You are not sure if it is wing meat or other meat that is processed to look like it came from the chicken wing. The flavors tasted different, as I compared them to the past. It seemed that the sauces had lost their complexity and were just at a basic level. For the fries, you cannot choose a flavor when you get this deal. It's just seasoned. What bugs me the most about WingStop and this location is that after ordering on line, you have to stand in line again, with the walk ins, just to pick up your order. There is NO special section to pick up. They need to fix this aspect because it is very annoying and defeats the purpose, severely hampering a quick in and out final transaction of your order. read more

I don't eat wings though so I can't speak on those THE TENDERS on the other hand are so good. They're like the ones I'd get growing up, they're crispy and savory and the Wingstop ranch is the best out there. I recently went to this location on Friday, May 9th. The cashier was a trainee and she did a good job taking my order. But this review, is not about them. It's about the rest of the crew. I had what I thought was a simple order of their lunch bundle for 3 strips. I had 3 orders, so 9 strips, and some fries. My order was entered at 6:01pm. The wait time was set to around 15-18 min. As time goes on the dinner rush comes in. Somehow my order kept getting delayed. Another customer who was there before me was also waiting. She had to wait almost an hour for her order. In the midst of her waiting she inquired about the wait and the employee responded with an attitude asking if she wanted a refund. I was taken back by the rude response as I continued to wait as well. As shown in the pictures I was there from the beginning of the rush and after the rush without my order. It's highly unacceptable to wait that long for 9 pieces of chicken without an explanation and to be met with rudeness. This location needs some new customer service training and learn how to deal with a rush. A simple check in update and apology for the wait would go a long way. read more

My friends and I stopped by here to pick up some wings before going to watch Deadpool & Wolverine. When we got here, we were lucky to find a parking spot in the back. The biggest issue you'll have here is finding parking because it's limited in the back unless you go park at the other plaza parking spots nearby. When we walked inside the place from the back parking spot, there were people dining inside and all the tables were taken. It's a pretty small place so be aware of that. There were also other people waiting for their order or to place their order too. I got the 10 piece traditional wings with lemon pepper and original hot as my spices. They told me it would take about 30 minutes but it really took like 20 minutes so just remember to order ahead from their website or mobile app to speed things up. After my friends place their order, a table open up so we sat there until they called our name. We took it back to eat at my friend's house and the wings were good. This is the second time that I have ordered from here and the food is never ready and the courier just leaves without picking up the food that's not even ready.. if you're hoping for your food to get there on time and if you don't want it to be canceled on, you, do not order from this place. This location has probably received my last order. The Owner of this location either doesn't know what's going on there or doesn't care. Every visit to this location has lead me further from visiting again. This restaurant is filthy. Always trash over flowing, falling onto the ground. Utensils and fountain drink counter always dirty and sticky. Please don't get started on the bathroom. Order is always wrong or missing something. Last nights last straw was 18 out of 20 wings, all drums. They were over cooked (usually are) under seasoned and served with warm veggies sticks and cold fries. Granted they are located near a busy transit corner and I'm sure that provides its own challenges but this location has to care a little more. Management has to do better. Ownership has to do better. Great boneless wings but really bad location. This is unfortunately the closest and most convenient location to us so we have no choice. Might be best to order ahead of time so that it's a quick in and out because our visit last night was the longest we've waited for food in a while. Might've just been the busy hours and the fact that this is the only wing stop around the area. The food here is great and hands down the best boneless wings in town but service was not quite the best. We got there, pulled into a tight spot in their parking lot in the back. Passed through the back because the front entrance is a Main Street (reseda) so no one really passes through there unless you're walking or something. It was busy, tables were all filled, but first thing you notice is the door wide open to the restroom. Kind of gross? Disgusting? The light and vent were on and they had a door stopper to keep the door open.. not sure why you'd want to have that wide open while eating. It's also very cluttered walking through to the front where you place and pick up orders. They only have a few booths but along side the other wall are boxes and storage type stuff which is unappealing. Their trash bin is a big one, wide open, doesn't even have a lid to close the stench so that's gross. The ice machine barely gave ice and only had a few drink selections (at least they had coca-cola but they had strawberry Fanta instead of orange? Didn't know it was that popular. We proceeded to the front to order and it was busy. One guy was on the phone handling an online order, the other elderly man walked away to help fulfill orders, loud rap music was blasting through their kitchen so when the guy got off the phone to take my order, he had me speak up because he couldn't hear me over their loud music. Overall it was a weird experience and a turn off to walk into their restaurant. Food also took forever to come out. Waited a good 20+ min for our food and it seemed like majority of people walking in and out had placed mobile orders so it was just easier and more convenient that way. At least the food was delicious (or we were just really hungry by the time we got our food) but the service and overall look of the restaurant makes me want to stay away. They also have a weird way of splitting the wings? We both ordered a 6 piece, 2 flavor combo and he got 4 of one flavor and 2 of the other while I had 4 of one flavor and 4 of the other LOL. Wingstop is a great option for chain fast food wings. They have a good variety of both wet and dry rub spices to ensure just about everyone will have a flavor to enjoy. I also really love that their new chicken sandwich lets you pick whatever sauce you want (I wish other non wing chains offered variety like that) But I have found that the dry rubs leaves the sandwich lacking. A wet sauce is a better route in my opinion. I am also not personally a fan of their seasoned fries. They put sugar in the season which sticks out too much. When I'm eating fries I'm expecting savory so the sweetness from the fries really jumps out to me but not in a good way. Now, this location is good. I will say unless you are going South on Reseda it can be tough to get in to. And it's definitely a blink & you'll miss it location. I often pull in to the parking lot immediately past the bank & park there as it's in between the bank & Wingstop. The employees here are always very friendly and helpful. I've also never found this location very busy so if you want to get in & out, this is a good spot for you. There is also plenty of seating should you want to dine there despite it being a small store. This is due to, once again, it never being crowded. However, most of the time I order I am ordering online for pickup. Almost every other store I have ever come to you will show up at your time and then end up waiting another 5ish minutes for your order to be ready. Not here! Every time I have come here I have been either a few minutes early or right on time and my order is always being bagged up right then. It's great! When you say this is the time you want to pick it up...it will be ready for you at that time. That's something all other restaurants should aspire to. Made the mistake of coming back here tonight after not eating here for years. I order 10 boneless wings, 6 lemon pepper and 4 garlic parmesan. The guy taking my order was kind of rude and made it seem like I should have placed my order online, rather than order in store. My order was ready within like 2 minutes of placing my order which I found kind of odd, but grabbed it and went to my car. When opening up the box, they only gave me 4 of each (8 instead of 10). They were SOAKED in grease. They looked nothing like in the photos you see in their ads, which is what made me go there in the first place.
