The frustration is unreal on my end, I had communicated multiple times with the staff prior to my appointment and it would have been great to know prior to the appointment that they wouldn't take my insurance. Staff showed zero concern or fault for it either, they just asked who I spoke to (which was different people via email, so they could have looked in their system). We are a military family without friends/family to help with childcare. My ability as a stay at home mom to see a doctor is extremely difficult and involves my husband having to take off work to stay with kids. So an entire afternoon was taken off by my husband so I could attend this appointment, all for nothing.

I am getting old now, and my son is an Attorney who lived in Austin, TX, and just married a doctor, and moved to Vermont. While a patient of Doctor Nicewander I was infected with a terrible disease when I tried to help a sailor from a Russian trawler that had collapsed. My insurance would not pay for the medicine because it was experimental, yet Doctor Nicewander managed to get it for me. My son almost grew up with no Mother to Home School him, to hug him, and love him. My Son received a $36,000.00 scholarship. I owe it all to Doctor Nicewander. What a difference one person can make in another person's life! Dr. Dennar is by far hands down the best doctor I've been to. Dr. Dennar actually makes you feel seen and listens to you like a human and doesn't act like a robot. He remembers me everytime and asks thoughtful questions, really tries to get to know his patient. With this, you should expect a little longer wait time but most doctors office will make you wait anyway. Location/parking: it's located in a strip by the Rouses in Algiers. Always good parking, the lot is never too busy. Wait experience: Truthfully, my wait is usually 30 min to 45 mins probably, BUT I don't mind at all because I expect it and the service is top tier. Technology: If you are tech savvy and like modern advances, this place is great for you. Dr. Dennar uses an online health portal where you can see EVERYTHING! As a hypochondriac, this is great. You can see lab results, appointment notes, diagnoses, prescriptions and everything in the portal. You can also message Dr. Dennar if you need to ask him a direct question, which I think is super neat. I don't know if this is something that most doctors do, but he always replies in a timely manner, almost as if you're in his office. Your weekly hours are cut down if there are not enough patients on the schedule, which was never stated upon the interview. The work load keeps increasing. You will are underpaid for the amount of work. Dr. P maybe nice to her patients, but very rude with her employees. Besides the constant hard work, she has 0 lack of trust in her employees and constantly micromanages everything. She is a totally different person when you first meet her vs when you get to work with her. If you want a boss who will never miss a moment to disrespect you behind and in front of patients , gossip about you to other employees, makes weird faces at you when you ask her question or need help, this is the best place best for you to work.
