great grocery store, friendly staff you can ask them to get whatever they don't have at that moment should be in a couple weeks later. The butcher will work with you to get whatever cuts you may need. I commented about a huge slab of beef she was about to cut into and she said "hell I can sell you this as is, you'll save money & me some time " lol. Also this place is almost never crowded which makes it easier to find stuff without pressure. read more

My house-brewed coffee, meanwhile, was more than palatable: it was downright good, which is a bit novel for a gas-station (though very much appreciated). But Lil'feller isn't just in Winner, it's a winner; and Winner itself isn't your ordinary town of twenty-five-hundred: it's the county-seat of both its own and the neighboring county. Lil'feller - at least in my limited experience - does justice to such a twin-seated town (even if one drops in, as I did, outside of its famous pheasant season).

They definitely want to make sure you leave with a full belly, because you get a heck of a large breakfast with 4 slices of bacon, made to order eggs, crispy hashbrowns and toast.
