This is my second time coming back to Winners to get my windows tinted. The first time was in 2017 and I got the side + rear windows done. They did an awesome job and they still look great 4 years later so I just had to come back for the front windshield! I didn't have an appointment but luckily they had availability. Charlotte (I think she is the owner) was super friendly and helpful. She presented the different tint options, explained the pros/cons of the brands, and let me pick the one I wanted. I liked that she was not pushy with recommending the most expensive products. When it came to getting ready to tint, she noticed a small chip in my windshield and told me I had to get it repaired before the tinting, otherwise the risk for cracking the whole windshield was extremely high. She helped me find a local shop and after I got the chip repaired, I brought the car back and they went to work on the front windshield. Our customer service rep showed us the different tint shades and explained us the differences between the two films that are offered. Seems like they updated their customer showroom and waiting area. Nice touch, if you want to wait for your car (takes about 90 minutes). It has a tv too. There is a small divey deli shop across the street if you need some substance waiting. 90 minutes later, I was real happy with how my car looks and how the film will block out the sun for my baby girl car seat too. This was my second visit here. My first visit was with my '03 BMW and now with my '15 Mustang GT. Both experiences were exceptional. I chose 20% on both vehicles. Charlotte greeted me when I walked in and discussed the different tints and pricing. She set me up in the waiting area which was nice and comfortable. They even have WIFI here. Kevin assisted me over the phone and offered a fair price right off the bat. When I came in for my appointment, the team worked quickly to provide same day service. I am knocking off a few stars because the film was bubbling when I came to pick up my car and I felt like I was inconveniencing the staff by asking them to smooth out the bubbles. Also, I'm not really so impressed with the quality of the tint. Maybe it was an old roll or something, because when I pointed out that the black tint on my previous car (3 series) was a deeper/richer color, Kevin just dismissed me and said that the tint looks different on the X1 because it's a different car. Um, thanks, buddy. I didn't know I had a different car! ugh. Mansplaining at its worst. The tint was still bubbling when I got home and I called the shop to say as much, but I got dismissed again. I would not recommend this shop to others. Edited to add based on the owners comments below: Kevin only took the time to show me one window on the meter, so I don't know if it's truly what I paid for on all the other windows. There are still imperfections three weeks later, so it's not just that the bubbles had to dry in the sun. Lastly, I agree that the sunroof is bigger on this car than a 3 series, but even with it completely closed, the tint still looks off. read more

I have no problem recommending winners for tinting even though prices can be beat by other shops. The clear bra was an extremely drawn out process where to their credit, winners took the time to redo free of charge. My experience started with some unsatisfaction with the detail and clean lines on the clear shield. A portion of the car was very crooked were two portions were to meet. I brought this up to the owners and they agreed to redo the job, it came out perfect the next time. After a few days passed I noticed that the portion of the clearshield had a different shade of color to it that I could only explain as being more yellow than another section. I brought this up to the owners again, once they saw the difference in the product on parts of the car they sent out for the manufacturer to send them a new roll of film to redo the car again, which they did. After 3 tries I was happy with the final product until I noticed the front portion of the car had a section that again...was yellow compared the majority of the cars clear shield. Note that my car is white and is most likely the only reason that the yellow color comes out at all. I will not pursue another fix up to the car due to the fact both myself and the owner are both tired of taking the time to correct. I'm not knocking the owners or management on this, they were accommodating when it came to reapplying their product. It's just tough luck that I ended up with what seems like defective materials. My other advice, know what your car's clearshield kit will look like, aside from all my issues with the actual clearshield, I thought the kit was poorly designed. Lines are running down the front of the car to adjust for the tension that would occur from trying to stretch the product around the curves of the front. Check around, do some research, find out what the kit will look like if done in other shops, take your time. I rushed into it and had I to do it all over again I would not put the clear shield on with this particular kit because I feel the design hurts the look of my car. read more

When you need a professional job, you go to professionals. I say this in light of an experience with another nearby tinting business that makes their own hours and operates like a back alley tint shop. There are alot of these operations out there. Buyer beware. The above was not my experience with Winner's. These guys are for real and do great work. They came strongly recommended by my girlfriend's dad. Previously, they removed my tint as a result of moving to the area and my car not passing state inspection due to the tint. They offered me a 10% discount if I got my windows re-tinted with them at a later date. They are a bit on the pricier side so I almost didn't take them up on it. Went today to have my new Tesla M3 tinted. Got Ultra Performance Ceramic 40 all around and 60 on top. If you are new to Tesla, there are very few places that are experienced enough in doing a one-piece as the back window is unique. These guys have that experience. The customer service was excellent, the owners fantastic, they took the time to discuss options, and dealt with my OCD nature! While it still needs to be cured, I'm thrilled with the job. I was referred to this place because my car did not pass MD inspection (which I think is a stupid stipulation in MD). I was told that they did incredible work and it was basically a mom and pop joint. Mom and pop are Charlotte and Lawrence. They are incredible people who err on the side of educating their customers than just trying to make a quick buck off you. Secondly, they're extremely knowledgeable yet not in a condescending way. They want you to make the best decision based on your needs and cost constraints. I was charged $99 to get my tint removed so that could pass inspection. They then gave me 10% off re-application of new tint. (I chose to go legal so as not to deal with the hassle.) They took me last minute to get it removed because I needed it done in a week. And they took me next day to re-apply. The wait was not incredibly long but these things you don't want to rush. In removal they didn't go at it with a razor, preserving my defroster lines. Car was cleaned up afterwards and treated well. They carry Solar Gard film and just added 3M to their inventory. They do all levels of tint - automotive, commercial, personal, etc. By that, they gave a good grasp of what they do and love doing it. The other positive Yelp reviews don't lie. Thank you Bob!!! Came in with a friend for a super last minute sun strip for our cars. He was able to accommodate the both of us and we were out in less than 40 minutes. I am SO happy we decided to come here because another shop nearby claimed to only do strips at 5%. I assume they had it pre cut and weren't able to cut one for me at 20%. Also they were charging double what I paid here at Winners. The film they have here is high quality and can pretty much do any percent you'd like - which is how it should be.
