I've used this company numerous times over the past several years for both personal moves and with my businesses and it is by far the most professional, fastest, most reasonably priced moving company I have ever worked with. If I could give Winter Moving 0 stars, I would. Isaac and another mover handled our move. After the move, they discovered the foot pieces to our bed were missing, my husband had to go buy replacements so we could sleep on our bed. My underwear drawer had been gone through, numerous personal belongings were left behind, and the paint in our home had been scratched and chipped during the move in by Isaac and the other mover. Our bedroom closet still contained personal belongings, kitchen cabinets and drawers were still full of items. No one ever went back to finish packing or retrieve the belongings that were left behind. What was even more frustrating was being told that the situation was our responsibility, despite the fact that we hired Winter Moving to handle the move and trusted them to properly pack, transport, and deliver our belongings. We followed their process and completed the required paperwork, but when items were left behind, we felt like the responsibility was placed back on us instead of the company taking accountability for what happened.To make matters worse, the company had us spend time filling out paperwork documenting everything that was missing and left behind and estimating the value of the belongings. After all of that, they credited only $150, which didn't come close to covering the losses or the damage. It felt like a complete waste of time. Speaking with management did very little and even escalating our concerns to higher-level staff and still nothing meaningful was done. Instead of taking accountability and working toward a fair resolution, they defended Isaac rather than addressing the problems we experienced. We expected professionalism, care, and accountability, but instead were left with unresolved concerns. These concerns remain unresolved and continue to affect us today because some of our belongings are still missing, and we have had to deal with the inconvenience and stress of replacing items that should have never been lost or left behind. One of the most upsetting parts of this experience was discovering that my underwear drawer had been gone through. That is an incredibly personal space, and it left me feeling violated and gross. We trusted this company and its employees in our home, and finding my personal belongings disturbed made me extremely uncomfortable and caused me a great deal of emotional stress. To make matters even worse, I am pregnant, and the added stress of dealing with missing belongings, damage to our home, and feeling like our concerns were dismissed are overwhelming. Instead of being able to focus on settling into our new home and my pregnancy, we were left spending time documenting losses, making phone calls, and trying to get the company to take responsibility. No customer should have to go through an experience like this or left feeling this way. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Winter Moving. And if you do decide to, WATCH THEM! Triple check their work, and do not trust them. The experience with this company was completely unacceptable. read more

We used Winter Moving for a local move in January. The esti.ate was some to set up and we dicided to go with them after getting other higher bids for lower service levels. The team sent to move us was great. They were willing to go above and beyond. They did take breaks ( reasonable when you are moving furniture down 3 flights of stairs) but were sure to check with me on it. They emptied our closets into wardrobe boxes and put anything on hangers into closets at the new house. I was surprised last week to get a refund check in the mail after our file was reviewed as they had not used as much packing material as they estimated. I would never have even known there was an issue but I appreciate the company's honesty and willingness to make things right. I will definitely use them in the future. read more

We just used this company for our recent move, and they were absolutely world-class. We have a number of antiques, dishes, art and other breakable items, and every single thing arrived without a scratch or chip. Every aspect of the move was handled in the most professional way - from the initial consultation with the sales person to the way the team showed up and worked diligently throughout the day. Big two-part residential move from a lake-home with lots of stairs to a new house in Centerton. Both the first stage and second stage of the move were handled by Winter. Both the first team (run by Josiah) and the second team (led by Robert) did an excellent job on a challenging move. They treated our family, our stuff, and both the houses with care and attention to detail. In both cases the movers took care to listen to what we wanted. They took the time to protect the carpeting and avoided marking up any walls. They wrapped and packed the items to be moved well and without any noticeable damage to our belongings. Both teams were respectful and friendly and worked very hard all day. We would definitely recommend Winter M & S to friends and would use them again in the future. read more

Do not use this company! The sales pitch is convincing. They showed up 90 minutes late. I took my daughter to the doctor and 45 minutes after arrival they were smoking and sitting on the truck. When I asked why they said they had mandatory breaks. I said OK. After they loaded up the truck they called to say they were stopping for lunch. Ok. I'm paying by the hour. I called the sales rep and he told me I had to pay for breaks because they were hourly employees. I've used other services and I NEVER had to pay for breaks - certainly not at the charges per hour! The sales rep couldn't have cared less, was rude but did finally agree not to charge me for lunch and breaks. The movers were like snails, I jumped in and helped and we came in at a final charge 50% more than quoted. I was furious. Wouldn't recommend to an enemy! read more

I did a cross country move. Winter Moving & Storage promised to take good care of my household goods, but they ended up losing several of my boxes (with irreplaceable items) and damaging many items (including crushing my Samsung dryer, damaging two coffee tables, damaging two bicycles, etc.). It has been about 8 months since they lost my boxes, yet they have not updated me on the status of my claim. Unquestionably, the most disappointing moving experience I've had. read more
